In this video I travel to Nashville, TN to take delivery of my BRAND NEW 2023 BMW M1000RR. I have been waiting on this bike for a LONG time. What makes this even more special is that I was able to take delivery at the same time that my boy Kudas took delivery of his brand new 2023 Ducati Panigale V4R. Afterwards, we go for a cruise for the first time and I give my initial thoughts of the bikes.

I had a little high side in the rain a couple years ago, doing a U turn….my head didn’t touch the ground but I obviously slammed into the floor (ATGATT mode btw), that shit rearranged some tendons and joints for sure.

I honestly love this style of video a lot, I know you've said before that a lot of people like the highway ride videos and that TH-cam is cracking down on them but these are just as entertaining.
Grab a 765 moto2. It’s limited but they are for sale second hand low miles here and there. They have carbon parts as stock and are rare enough you would love owning it but nimble and track focused for your track bike
big props to making the younger guys feel respected and spending some time talking with them most ignore the young guys because they can be a bit silly but to those that think they are to good to talk and help guide the younger guys you were there once and if you just won't show respect to everyone stay out of my group It made these boys day talking and spending time with Dylan so remember a little attention and advice carries a long way with the youth and they need all the help they can get from all of us. I own a 2020 Daytona Moto2 765 which was an upgrade from a 2018 Street Triple 765. Been riding over five years and the one definite fact with Triumph motorcycles is the quality of all their bikes across the board. In my humble opinion regarding your question on the Daytona 660 being a possible track bike?... Absolutely!... but for a rider new to track days experience. My reason for thinking this is that the Daytona 660 is a entry level bike and at the end of the day, you will eventually out grow this bike on the track seeking more power. The Daytona 1200RR is a fantastic choice but if you crash this bike on track, it will be around the same ball park price in repair cost as your other bikes which defeats the purpose. If I had to make the choice for you... I'd shop for a used Daytona 675R (2013 - 2015) and put race fairings on it which are not too expensive these days. That bike requires no upgrades; ready to ride out of the box and is known for it's world renowned chassis. I owned a 2012 675r and a street triple 765 RS at the same time. Phenomenal bikes. Was looking to get a moto2 daytona. But at the same time I wanted a bike with 150hp+. I ended up getting a speed triple 1200RR. Miss my Daytona so much. I think down the road I'll get a moto2. One day
The 660 triumph is definitely a good nimble bike for the track however I think the triumph 765 may be lil more to your liking for track days

I can speak from experience those Z H2's aren't no joke once you unlock em. 🙂 Only bike I've ever had power up going from 3rd to 4th at 130+.
I'd wait for the R9 to see if that's a solid choice and try out other bikes to see if it's something you want to use on the track.

Most Ozzie’s buy cosmetic write offs for track bikes. I bought an Aprilla RSV with front end damage for song. Straight frame and only 8,000 kms. On the track for one third of the price of an equivalent undamaged model. Put a headlight and indicators on it and I register it for the road. 155 HP at the back wheel.

Ik im late but you should get the 2012 Triumph Daytona 675r becuase it has 675cc but it keeps up with 1000cc bikes and is almost as light as 600cc bikes (i think) and it's unique and you dont see them as often if at all and it would be a unique part of your collection

Triumph has so many good options. if your looking for a good, capable, smaller track bike, the Daytona 660 is the way you cant go wrong. if your looking for something more Cruise while still having all the power you will ever need, the Rocket 3 is a legend. if your looking for a classy fun and agile street bike, that Speed Triple double R is the way to go. Man thats not even to mention the Tiger's, the Bonevilles, Hell even the scrambler.
You look better on the speed triple R than the other bike you sat on earlier. The suspension on the speed triple just said "ok bet, I gotchu" the suspension on the other bike said "oh lawd, Jesus replace me with better components" 😂

I have the 2021 MT09, and I like the sound also. It's fun for stunts and wheelies. But I'm not sure about long distance on the highway. I did change the sprockets to get more top speed, but nothing to call home about. It's pretty much a dirt bike on steroids. I'm really thinking about putting dirt tires on it. I think you gotta get an R9M when they come out and that 3 cylinder torque would make it great for the track! But imo you should just get a new R6 for the track since they are track bikes only anyways now

Bro you should get like a 2015 Daytona 675. It would be cheaper than trying to buy the new 660. Especially for a track bike that’s most likely gonna get laid down once or twice

got my first bike yesterday and some guy cut me off terribly and i went down already, i have some damage on me but im okay for the most part, the damage on the bike is all cosmetic too, i got up and rode it home after the crash, im determined to ride again but ima rest first and then get back out

If you can you should try to find and test ride the Daytona 765 moto2. That thing is a track weapon.
I'd let you take my 2016 Daytona 675R out for a ride/review if we lived closer man. It's got 6k miles, rides like new. All Triumph brand mods (intentional because rare) but I'm considering... if I could find a Taylor Made exhaust that would be optimal.

But as for the street bikes my homie had a 675 triumph and I got to whip er one time and a nutts2butts ride along to see highway speed . By far one of the nicest sounding bikes I’ve ever heard in person and separates itself from ANY other bike imo. Huge Ducati guy with suzuki in second and kawi third. So when I saw the 675 in real life instantly became number 4 on my top 5.

D, if you want a track bike check out Alpha Racing for a S/M 1000RR, or HSBK for a V4R, both of them will build you a specific track bike and you won’t end up with a bid ass box of shit you didn’t have to pay for. I built several show room to track bikes and this is definitely the most economical way to do it, and you end up with a better bike. They’ve already sorted it out for you, if you go down, they both have replacement parts available, plus you can upgrade stuff like the brakes or whatever all the way up to super bike level. If your budget and skills can handle it???
Get a 765 for the track, look at Moto2 and how reliable they, now are.

What's better on a track top speed or torque? I'm guessing torque because there's not a lot of straights in a track, so powering out of the corners is key to staying ahead.

My last bike was a GSXR1100 with a 1549cc kit and ported head so I can't do triumph. There just not fast enough. I had to get rid of it after a crash and I got a r1 for a minute but was not fast enough so I didn't respect it so I got rid of it in 2 weeks when you ride a 8sec steet bike that runs 223mph and runs 8s in the 1/4 mile its crazy to a stock bike its hard to respect anything
