I agree it's not pocket change, but for our situation, it was definitely the most economical option. It was a lot cheaper for us upgrade our hoop than paying for a new in-ground basketball hoop.
That's certainly an option if you have the money. This is simply a cheaper option that allows you to take the hoop with you if you decide to move. Thanks for the comment!
Did you have to cut the bottom of the pole before attaching to the new base…because originally I know it screws into the old plastic base 🤔?
No. Just unscrewed it from the base and placed it in place. It was pretty easy actually.
hi,
do i have to call 811 dig before the installation?
It's probably a good idea. We didn't for this project, but we knew where the lines were since we had called them on a previous project.
@@ABROnlineAcademy thank you!
Yes
I was thinking the same way call the utility guys , how deep you have to go?
About two feet, maybe a little more.
I just order this, but instead dirt, im gonna pour concrere, wrap it with black tape first
Excellent! That should be nice and firm but still allow you to take it down or replace the hoop if needed. Good luck!
How you gonna say you’ll save money when this cost $159

Do you guys really think that will hold!! U wasted your money on that base! U should have gotten post hole dippers and concrete and post supports !
Time will tell I guess. So far so good, and we're loving it.
Just buy an inground
