- This video has been created at the request of the community. Bloodborne is a game that has not been improved for PS5, so the differences come down to lower load times. However, I have made this comparison to test the performance of the game since on PS4 it suffered a lot of frame-pacing. To my surprise, the game continues to suffer from these issues (although less frequently.)

AnalistadeBits una pregunta, probaste a instalar bloodborne en su versión 1.0 con la versión del formato físico sin actualizarla a la versión 1.09 solo funciona en la física ya que en la versión digital no sirve, ya que supuestamente en su versión 1.0 no tiene el capado a 30 fps y creo que debería correr el juego a 60 fps en ps5, me gustaría que comentases si es cierto y corre a 60 fps dejándolo en su versión 1.0 ya que leí un artículo que comentaban sobre eso y no dispongo de ps5 para comprobarlo por mi mismo y tengo bastante curiosidad, gracias y espero tu respuesta a ser posible, un saludo 😉👍

Bloodborne is a treasure. It doesn't need a remake, a remaster or whatsoever. It only needs a fix to run at 60fps.

@Microwave Yeah, it's a rumor tho. But a 60FPS patch is so easy a single modder has done it, and Sony still didn't do it, probably because they want to sell a remaster. Also there have been a ton of rumors of this and they never declined any of them, so that's that. And also they keep talking about expanding their profitability so it's probably coming to PC as well.

@@guidorussoheck2100 That's not true. DS3 and Sekiro haven't been patched for next gen but they actually both run at a stable 60 on PS5 vs an unstable 30 on the regular PS4. It's because Bloodborne is locked at 30 but it still has horrible frame drops on the PS5, I don't understand why it's so poorly optimized.

Watch Sony doing a "Remastered" version to run 4K 60fps with lighting a little bit better and ask 40 Dolars for it.
They raise dark.souls 3 and sekiro to 60fps but not bloodborne , I do think sony is going to do what u said , although cuz this is my fav ps4 game I will gladly buy it again
I mean honestly though, I'd pinch. The graphics don't need a large boost but 4K and 60fps support would be nice. Except I believe the game is getting a update to support PS5 features anyway. Its also free if you have PS5, if you have a PS+ membership and a PS5 you get 15 major titles for free which I think most of them will be getting updated support for next gen. The free games of the month are also shadow of war, hollow knight and some shit called bugsnax which is a PS5 game lmao. All of which still run great on PS5 compared to PS4, but I still wouldn't be surprised how many games from years ago will be getting a PS5 edition for no reason at all.

Probably a mistake by the editor. Bloodborne came out in 2015, almost 3 years after the ps3’s lifespan ended so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t on ps3
Bloodbourne was the reason I originally bought a PS4. I'd tried in the past to play demon souls and dark souls and couldn't get into them they just never interested me but Bloodbourne grabbed hold of me so hard, I first played it at a friends house and the next day I immediately went and got my PS4 and a copy of it. Could not stop playing... Have since finished the game heaps of times and gotten very efficient at the boss fights =) 10/10 masterpiece that is very deserving of a 4K 60fps remaster.
I won't buy a PS5 this year because they haven't improved the frames for this game.

Yo jugué a Bloodborne y actualmente es mi juego favorito, y en ningún momento me pareció que los FPS fueran un problema, es más, en ningún juego me molestan. Es como si los 30 FPS me parecieran normales.
@@Kai-iy3kt Yo juego en PC desde hace un par de años, y aún así, cuando juego God of War, Spiderman o a The Last Of Us 2 no siento mal los 30fps, están muy bien optimizados y se sienten fluido. El problema de Bloodborne no es ese; sino que esos 30fps corren muy mal; el juego me da dolor de cabeza de los bajones que tiene. Es incómodo jugarlo al principio, es un juego muy mal optimizado y va a tirones. Pásate de jugar Dark Souls 3 a jugar Bloodborne y es un retroceso fatal, independientemente de los 30fps.

@@IvanFennder not exactly an excuse, they updated DS3 to run with an unlocked framerate on PS4 Pro, that is why it runs at 60 fps on PS5. Same for Sekiro. Its the same engine, there is NO excuse. A lot of people are getting into the Souls series because of the new Demon's Souls remake, Bloodborne and the rest will be the next thing for these new fans. What do you mean they aren't making money from it?

No, Demon's Souls Remake can run at 1080p 60fps or 4K 30fps. To run that game at 4k 60fps the ps5 should have a gpu with the power of at least an RTX 3070

ER was such a massive success, they will pour all their money into it and a potential sequel for that instead of a Bloodborne sequel, I believe. Which is a shame, because I'm not a huge fan of open world Dark Souls.
@@DemoniteBL yeah thats also what i think is gonna happen. bloodborne is still my favorite from software game so bloodborne 2 will always be what i would prefer. even a pc port of bloodborne would be enough for me. i personally really like elden ring and its definitely been my number 2 from software game so i wouldnt mind a sequel either. i do have to say however that from software also loves to make new IP's with their formula with a couple changes. for elden ring tho we got a pretty close resemblence of dark souls 3 gameplay wise if you take out the open world. i'd be interested to see a bloodborne style combat open world as a new IP cause i still think it was the perfect mixture of aggressive gameplay in from software games and im a big fan of being forced to play aggressive. the quickstep instead of rolling, the rally system to get your health back and the quick heal animation is what i loved about bloodborne. its like dark souls but cranked up to 11

So I finished the Demon Souls remake and loved it. But then I needed something else to do with my time, so I tried Bloodborne again. Oh my goodness 60fps isn’t an option anymore. All they have to do is make the 60fps mod official and we’d be good. It’s graphics are awesome as ever, but the fps really kills it, which is super sad cuz it’s my favorite of all the soulsborne.
I would love a 60FPS patch, but Sony would never do that for free when they could charge $70 for some sort of ps5 exclusive remaster
Maybe show us the boss fights. That's the only point for me where there were significant frame drops

I'm just gonna say, in my few years of owning the game for PS4, the fps didn't bother me. The graphics are and will always stay beautiful, and the overall gameplay is fantastic. The Old Hunter's DLC could've been more, but eh, it's From Software.

not possible, they have to change the game. The FPS is hardlocked at 30, to change that they have to unlock it and work on almost all animations in the game. The animation system is tied to the FPS. FromSoftware didnt even release a Pro patch for this game for that reason..

@@Ammothief41 Still the patch has to be done by FromSoftware, its stated often and FromSoftware already said they have no interest in updating old Games.
the Homebrew Version is the reason why its known, that its not enough just to remove the 30 FPS cap. He explained that he had to alter a lot of things.
And as i said from software have no interests in patching old games, they said it when they got asked about a pro patch and that still stands.

Especially when Sony owns the rights to it an Demon's Souls so it's up to Sony to decide what to do with it. You do know the Demon's Souls remake wasn't done by From Software, right?
And the fact that a guy with no source code could do it sure makes it seem awfully hard. Can't imagine anyone at Sony is quite as talented as that one lone guy.
@@Ammothief41 it could only run at 60 in 720p though. I'm sure people are tryna push for 4k60, so for that to happen, there would have to be alot more then just a patch. Darksouls 3 isn't completely hardlocked to 30fps, so it can run at a higher framerate. Bloodborne is made around 30fps, and the animations rely on it. So they'd have to rework the animations to run at a higher frame rate so it doesn't mess with the physics of the game.

Considering how a lot of reviewers were lowering the score for the long loading times and it still had a very high metascore, it's pretty much a perfeft game now.

Everybody’s saying there’s no need for a remaster, but that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t benefit from one. I mean, imagine Bloodborne with the quality of the Demon’s Souls remake, or even something close to that. Would be absolute heaven.

Una verdadera prueba de FPS seria en multijugador (+2 player) y en alguna zona como yahargul. Ahí los FPS bajan muchísimo y seria bueno ver si PS5 mantiene el rendimiento.

I believe a dev said an update wasn’t coming because the game relies heavily on the frames being capped at 30, apparently if it was raised to 60 the game would be incredibly unstable

The real fps stability test is Research hall - 1st floor, just walkin near the room full of "slugs", aggroing them. That was a mess! Maybe the maximum peak was 15 fps
You can also test at the moment when three Yahar'gul Hunters appear. Or in the Chalice Dungeons, when fire-breathing dogs appear. There I had a shaped slideshow.

Sekiro and Dark Souls 3 had an update weeks before the ps5 launch (All the games Running at 60 fps on PS5 had an update for PS5 before the launch, examples GOW, SOTC and etc). This is the Devs problem, they need to update the game for unlock 60 fps mode not Sony.
@@AnotherSamurai97 they could run at 60 cz both were made for pc, which means they had to (since start of development) make 60fps not break the game. bb was made to run at 30 in the ps4, they would have to do a lot more shit other than just unlocking the fps. thats why ds3 and sekiro run at 60. another proof of that is that ds3 runs at 60 only on ps5 and pc (cause pc released at 60 and ps4 had a patch after some weeks that unlocked it, xone didnt and so didnt SX neither SS)

This tech-guru Lance Mcdonald has made a patch where you play on 720p/60fps on PS4 pro, I think he said he is going to release it at some point. I hope that he can do the same for a ""PS5"" version. I mean since he can drop res from 1080p to 720, he might be able to increase it as well maybe 2K/60 or even 4K/60 if the PS5 can handle it. I really hope he does

This game looks terrible on the ps5. Honestly, dark souls 1 on the ps3 holds up better, besides blightown. Something about the horribly aliased jagged edges and bizarre glowing edges of textures make it look like a goddamn mess. Theres just jagged patches of shiny pixelated light everywhere.Theres too much detail and not nearly enough fidelity to display it. Not to mention, the game stutters below 30 FPS on the fucking ps5. I've played every souls game since the beginning, BB and Sekiro were the only ones I missed, since I never have a ps4. This one is really fucking hard to stomach.
I highly recommend Sekiro. Playing it on PS5 right now and it’s incredible. Looks way better now than when I got it for PS4

It's something From Software should do, not Sony. Activating 60fps needs more work than a simple patch, you need to rewrite all the timings and mechanics...the game is now designed for 30fps, it's not just uncapped framerate
The problem is that for some dumb reason, this game's animations are tied to framerate unlike other ps4 titles getting upgrades. So more effort is required here. I won't mind a remastered version for this masterpiece.

Bloodborne has only 1 fatal flaw... it runs like shit. Otherwise it's the only reason for me to keep my PS4 while I already have PC
Facts I ran on my ps5 just to see and actually looks and seems to run worse could be me but def looked that way
@@skryze6381 it's exactly like DS3. I have a beefy computer and yet is still runs like shit. The only difference is that bloodborne runs way worse than DS3... so badly that I sometimes feel it's unplayable

Una duda me recomienda comprar este juego? Me gusta su temática, e visto un juego parecido como el demond souls lo vi en ps3 y este otro dark souls.

Yo comencé mi fanatismo en esta saga con Bloodborne en ps4, después jugué Darksouls 1 original en ps3, y después el DS3 en PS4 y actualmente estoy jugando Sekiro en PS4.
Para comenzar, segun yo los mejores son Dark Souls 1 o Bloodborne.
Y estos juegos en general no guardan relación alguna. A excepción de la Saga Dark Souls. Asi qué puedes comenzar por el que mas te llame la atención.

Well. worth looking into, and well feeling a little underwhelmed to say the least, can't say i'm surprised Fromsoft isn't really great at porting their games on PC too. that being said 60FPS would've gone a long way. Heck, i had to Mod Sekiro Shadows Die Twice on PC with 3440x1440 (21:9) Ultrawide 60FPS
It's just that you haven't played From Software games on consoles. After playing the From Software games on consoles, you realize that they can ONLY be played on PC.
