  • (Re-uploaded in higher quality, in HD and in one piece, though I apologize about the audio issues in this upload. If I ever find a better quality copy I will probably re-upload this again in the future.) Air date: 11/30/1991. In what was the 6th week of Gary Casey's run in 1991 that included his big True Value Championship show win, Peter Surette would be his opponent to try to stop him.
What followed in this match was one of the best performances you will EVER see when it came to shot making, bonus money, and CRAZY high scores that also was a record setter too! The third game in this particular show is probably one of the most energy filled strings I have ever seen in Candlepin Bowling as a whole.
Hope you all enjoy, a special thanks again to organmaster1969 that provided this show. :)
    R.I.P. Don Gillis.

What would have happened if he actually hit pins/wood when stepping over the line?

@@SimuLord So missing all the pins actually helped because he was able to score on his third ball?

This theme is played for the Dutch version of Wheel of Fortune (Rad van Fortuin) on RTL 4 in the early 90s and VTM Belgium in the 2000s

Okay, I grew up in Arizona, so I never saw Candlepin bowling as a kid. I was a mediocre 10 pin bowler, and I still love the game. I have heard of candlepin, but never saw it. Now that I have, I am going to look for more. Can anyone tell me why they keep score in a line instead of the way 10 pins is scored? And it doesn't look so hard,(but I am sure it is), so why hasn't anybody scored a sanctioned perfect game?

With this being your last "making this one piece broadcast" I think you saved one of the best for last to upload.

Wow. The third string must be the highest head-to-head combined score for one string, or close to the highest, on Channel 5. Great performances by both bowlers.
