Your video randomly appeared in my feed today, so I gave it a watch! Really enjoyed you video and have now subscribed to your channel. I am routing for you! Jo
I hope all of your craft shows go well. You put so much time and effort in to each one. I'm always rooting for you. Also, I get a kick out of the sound effects you make. They just flow so well with your conversation. Your videos are so authentic. Don't ever change. I love them. I am looking forward to your next video. ~Crystal
I took a fashion design class when i was still in school. The teacher showed us how to change that thread like that. I loved threading the machines in the room. We had all kinds.
I wish they taught more artistic life skills like sewing and embroidery in middle school/high school, I think I would have been really interested in this was earlier on had I been introduced to them! I love that you were able to learn like that!
Started watching you as I want to eventually do markets! One of the only small businesses that I found and like that isn't crochet! Also a mom to a 2.5 yr old and do crafty stuff during nap time! Kaitlin
Thank s Kaitlin for your support! I hope you find some really great markets to get into and keep me updated on how it goes! Hopefully yours will continue to have good nap times, mine still need it for sure I don't know how I'm going to manage when that goes away lol.
Thank you for this beautiful video. ❤ So much love. May I ask why you only have your big bags in your Etsy shop? Wouldn’t it be a good way to start online sales with this big Plattform (Etsy)? I know the take a lot of % from you, but would it be good to have sales even if it’s less profit? Just curious. Maybe you could make a video about Etsy vs own shop? I would love to hear your opinion. Greetings from Germany ❤❤
Thank you so much for your kindness!! So most of my things not being on Etsy is just because I have been bad about finding the time to fill out the listings. I have it on my to-do list but I never give myself the time to do it. I definitely want to put all my items on Etsy I'm going to try really hard to work on it this week lol
How I price things is definitely the hardest part for me, I try to price things at a price that I think things will sell for honestly, I have fallen into the trap of wanting to just try to sell items instead of pricing them for what I think they are worth. I think I am definitely going to increase my pricing moving forward of embroidered items especially based on what I have seen in my embroidery business owners group and other people selling similar embroidered items. I don't have an exact answer except that I price with my heart not my head sometimes lol.
Hi! My name is Juana. I live in Maryland. I love the video Vlog! Can you link the collapsible drawers you unboxed? I am getting ready for my first Market, and I think is a good display option. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Juana thank you so much! Sooo the collapsible drawers are from Temu and I actually didn't end up liking them when I used them at my event lol. They were a bit too small for what I wanted to use them for and were almost impossible to break back down I ended up just putting them in the car fully assembled lol. If you still want me to send the link I will just let me know!!
@@googoogoods thank you so much for letting me know. I will look for another option. My first market is in August, so I have time, I started prepping already 🙃. Thanks!
I love your effort but maybe be a tad more selective about the events you attend. You put a lot of energy into prep to only make small profits. Keep doing events but choose better.
Thank you so much for your support, I definitely try my best to find good events to vend at. I think it can very much be a toss of the dice, most events that I have vended at I have been told by other vendors that the previous years have been extremely successful (for example the fishing tournament my friend Amanda made thousands last year and definitely didn't this year!). It's definitely hard to be selective, if you have any suggestions or know any events near me that I may have not heard of please let me know! I think every market you do is really a risk no matter how good you think it may be!
The new Temu shelf thingy looks like it will be a good idea.. Love the Oranges pattern you used for the shirts. I actually just drew some oranges that look similar for stickers. I don't know how you accomplish so many things in a day and still go to the Disney and Universal parks. I think you went to Universal in the rain the same day we went to Hollywood Studios... Only we pulled into the parking lot, it started pouring rain and we thought we would wait it out.. well that didnt seem to happen so we litearlly went to the parking lot and waited and then left without getting out of the van. LOL!! I am glad you thought the laminated pricing signs was a good idea. I have severl that I keep all in one container and if I change up my prices for different markets or different situations, I switch mine out. The signs were a game changer because I think people are more likely to buy things when they dont have to ask you questions about prices.. I try to have a ton of signs on my stuff so they have no reason to ask LOL. Im sure my comments are confusing because my TH-cam Channel is completely different from my Instagram that I use when I talk to you LOL. So this is our travel channel and my instagram is my craft business name- The Shabby Sand Dollar...and l am Melissia from Jacksonville. I hope you had a successful market this past weekend, you deserve a good one!
Hey girl I know who you are lol! The Temu shelf was actually a little bit of a bust for me, it was a little too small for what I was wanting to use it for and wasn't actually really collapsible lol. I definitely am very optimistic when we go to the parks that the boys will have a good time and behave but typically our weekly night visits can be a little brutal lol. Yes it was soooo rainy last week but I didn't want to keep us from having fun. They like to walk and not be in the stroller so we had a very slow and very wet walk around the park. We didn't ride anything we literally just took a lap around the park lol. I got the laminator this week and made the signs yesterday, they look perfect thank you so much for all the great ideas!! This weekend was pretty successful, not Milk Mart level but not bad :)
Good video. Hope you have a good show.
Thank you so much Star!!
Hope the market goes well for you! Good luck!
Thank you so much!! It went pretty well you'll see my thoughts on Thursday :)

Oh that's not fair, we had to poke that thread in the needle hole with our fingers!
And nothing was computerized ! Lol I'm old.....

What website service do you recommend ?
I use Shopify for my online store! People like Squarespace too but I think that's not as geared toward E-Commerce!
