Yes it's so lovely to have same sex siblings; but nobody says "go crazy with the blue" do they 😂😂 I just love my little boys soooo much; & it's quite nice to have been the only "girl" in the house for so long as I got special treatmenr(now and again!) xxxx
Beautifully said. I was told I was clever to have 4 children boy, girl, boy, girl in that order. This really annoyed me because to me they are human beings not just a gender. I also got why are you having a third you already have one of each. I dread to think what they thought when I was on number 4. Haha, I’ve just heard this lovely lady say the clever comment.
I just did my gender reveal today. I'm going to be a mom of twin boys. Everyone kept saying they hoped I would have a boy and a girl and I could almost hear the silence after the second balloon popped and more blue confetti came out. I'm absolutely thrilled to be having two boys!!! I think it's going to be great!!! I wish there wasn't so much pressure on couples in that way. All babies are blessings!!!
My friend had a great tip for 'practising ' her reaction to the gender. She got her husband to pick at random a pink or blue party popper (she didn't know which one he'd picked and neither did he!) He then pulled it so she could gauge her reaction to how she felt about the colour.... turned out when it showed blue she actually felt more excited than she thought! They didn't find out the gender and she got it into her head that she was having a boy......her beautiful little girl is two in September haha! The point is because her heart was set on a girl she prepared herself for the opposite and actually found she was ok about it!
I did the gender sway for my last baby and it worked great. I was also strict on the diet as well and took the necessary pills needed to help with the process.
I know this is an older video of yours now, but it just popped up on my feed and I loved giving it a watch. In fact it’s made me think I should do a video about gender again because I’m currently being bombarded with “wouldn’t it be lovely if it’s a boy” and it’s actually really getting me down if this poor bubba is a girl that everyone will be so disappointed. Loved this video! I also had one boy, then a miscarriage which I also think was a girl and quickly got pregnant with another baby boy. We will soon be trying for one more bc I also always wanted three. One boy and two girls just as you mentioned. I was also one of two girls and always wanted an older brother. I too get so frustrated hearing everyone pressure me to have a girl and make me feel terrible if I don’t have one. My boys are the sweetest to each other and have been a joy to watch. Though they can still have those stereo typical boy qualities, they also have the sweetest side and love cuddles. I will try this method and hope it works for us to have a girl but I just want a happy and healthy baby. Thank you so much for posting this video bc it really spoke to me on so many levels.

Thanks hon, yes people put a kind of judgment on it still. I think of all the ads for holidays and it's always mum/dad/boy/girl. We have such a skewed way of looking at families. My sister has two girls and three would be lovely xx
I loved this video THANK YOU!!!! I have a 1 year old son that we used the Shettles Method for and we will be trying in May for a baby girl, also using the Shettles Method. I come from a family with an older brother and my husband also comes from a pigeon pair. I'm finding the pressure HUGE but I think I am putting it on myself. I'm just so anxious to start trying for baby number two but I need to track my ovulation properly to be able to give Shettles the good old go! I loved what you said about having two boys and I will not be having a 3rd (unless I can pull a sneaky on my husband) but I need to remember that two boys are as nice as a pigeon pair and they will be close to each other.

When I had just the three boys those smug comments from mothers of girls used to drive me crazy!! I couldn't agree with you more! My boys are gentle and caring and I know they will look after me when I'm old and grey!!!
I'm not even expecting a baby yet but this was suggested because I was curious and honestly, I've been nervous. I feel like I have all these expectations of what having a baby will be like and when you said "be kind to yourself. It's your family. It's gonna be absolutely perfect whatever it is." I wanted to cry. Idk why I'm putting so much pressure on myself. Literally no one else in my family is asking or pushing me to have kids yet so idk. I know I'm not even ready yet so there's no reason I should be so worried.

My husband and I practiced the shettles method to conceive our second baby (we already have a baby girl and just wanted a boy) and it worked! We are having a baby boy in September.
I think it just depends on what personality the individual child has and not that it takes after a certain parent. I have a girl (5) and she was and is so happy, easy going child - I guess a bit like me and my husband. Then we have a boy (4) who is exactly the opposite of all of us. From the minute he was born he was what I call your typical boy! Very wingy, cried constantly as a baby. And now he’s the same but older really, very Mardy, crazy whirlwind, never sits still, very bossy, very demanding. A very hard work child. Obv I love him to bits but it is exhausting. I’m now pregnant with another boy (so I will have a girl and 2 boys). I’m going to be honest and say I’m a little worried he’ll be another crazy whirlwind. We’ve not treated my daughter or my son any different and in my experience girls are much easier then boys and my boy is def the rough and tumble type 110%. I just hope this next baby boy is a little bit more relaxed. Overall I don’t really think there is a of behaviour linked to boys or girls I just think it depends on their individual personality they were born with.
Aww SJ, I loved this video. I'm not sure whether to call it luck or a blessing, but we have one of each. Our baby girl came first and when we got pregnant again, everyone would ask what we were hoping for. Me and my husband have always just said, a healthy baby. We didn't find out, until the day he was born. We've had several comments over the years, how we're a complete family. Mam, Dad, Daughter & Son. I don't feel my family is complete at all, I would love another baby, my husband agree too. Whether it will happen, or not, I'm not sure. I was one of 3, I have two older brothers. xx

I think most of what people say is just stupid streyotypes anyway. My cousin who is a girl has a terrible relationship with her mum they argue all the time and are definitely not friends or close at all. Where as my other cousin who is boy is a complete mummy boy so loving, affectionate and close to his mum. I think it depends on the child's personality if they are quite or loud and the ability of the parents to discipline inappropriate behaviour in either gender

SJ Strum Yes being team of three is great. There are definitely pros and cons to being a only child like anything. I was very shy growing up and I do wish I had a close bond with a sister or brother in adulthood and sometimes it's lonely. Your kids are so lucky to have a lifelong friend
I do think they give each other confidence, sometimes too much when they gang up on me at bedtime - ha ha! Each family is so unique it's so interesting. (I was also super shy when I was young and still can be!) SJ x

Great video SJ! I think that it's true that you want what you grew up with yourself. I don't have kids yet but in future. I'm a only child with my mum and dad and I've always wanted to have only 1 child which would be a girl. I want to create the great relationship I have with my mum best friends, shopping etc. I'm a very girly person so I would be worried about know what to do with a boy in future I think I would be so clueless. I worry that I wouldn't be as close or have that friendship (in adulthood) to a boy which I know is stupid. I just worry that I wouldn't be as excited for a boy as for a girl. But I know all of the boy things I'm worried about are just stupid streyotypes anyway

ive just managed to watch this! :) very interesting. i always get negative comments about having 3 boys which upsets me. its always 'will u try for a girl?' like my boys arnt good enough!! if we had another than it would be amazing and actually would it be wrong if i wanted another boy? its all i know! i think every baby is a miracle regardless of the sex and were all extremely lucky to be able to concieve :) evalina is adorable xx
It's such a shame isn't it to get negative comments; as if your gorgeous baby's are just 'failed attempts for girls'!!!! I don't even think people mean it but they just comment as a reflex almost; I got loads of comments just about my second son. If we had a 4th I think I'd love another boy!!!!! I am swaying for a girl but I also had that concern about reducing chances of conceiving in general because you have to reduce intercourse close to or on ovulation. 😩
I couldn't agree more with this, I have two girls and had a loss inbetween which I'm sure was a boy. Due to sickness I won't be having any more but will always wonder about being a boy mum but I can't imagine not having two girls too, that are also mud and snails 😂

I had two boys and fell pregnant unexpectedly when my second son was 5 months old with a girl. I wanted 3 kids and I do admit I wanted my third to be a girl. My husband comes from a family where girls are almost extinct and I was so sure number 3 was also a boy. Needless to say I was immensely happy when I found out at my scan that she was a girl. If I had planned my third I was planning on doing the Shettles method. My sister did it twice and had a boy then a girl.
I have 3 boys and have vlogged rather honestly about my gender ‘disappointment’ and about the comments I receive (and still receive!) from people about my all boy family. We did shettles method with 2 of my babies and then I later found out that his theory has been completely debunked!

In middle eastern or indian pakistani cultures it's so great to have boys. Don't worry about that. But I guess not having a girl for a bit, it must be hard. I had girl boy girl boy. I was extremely lucky but wasn't fussed either way. My husband desperately wanted a boy but girl was first.now he remarried and had 2 more girls. Yes but in western society girls are now valued more look at the amount of women wanting girls posted here on you tube how many are there that favoured boys not many.
all babies are a blessing and gender doesn't determine a personality. I disagree that your boy will just be like your husband whatever his character is as children are individuals and some boys are more like their mothers and some girls are more like their fathers. I worry a bit that if you are determined for one sex you are more determined for a personality, like you are desperate for pink and will therefore be disappointed if you have a tomboy and you might end up closer to one of your boys. The whole boys are smelly and rough I think adds to this problem with boys feeling like they can't open up as much.
To conceive a girl you have sex between 2-5 days before you ovulate. Have sex as soon as the period stops until you are up to a few days before. For a boy it’s at ovulation not before. Girls are slower and stronger boys weaker but faster, so use shallow penetration and spooning position. We’re hoping for a girl in June.

I have 2 girls and I felt that when I was pregnant with my second daughter that everyone assumed I wanted a boy and also that a lot of people expected my husband to be disappointed with another girl, which wasn't the case at all. We never found out either time although I did have a feeling both times that I was having a girl! That's so funny about the SMOG as I always feel that its the parents of one of each that have achieved 'perfect family' in society's terms haha. Definitely mums of girls only that were smug or smog should I say when my children were younger. I had both sexes and was told by some people that I must have been disappointed when the boys were born. Actually no how could I have possibly been disappointed with any of my gorgeous children.
You use the ovulation kits to figure out when you surge/ovulate for a couple of months; then you start trying to conceive and for a girl you stop 4-6 days before you're due to ovulate. x

It’s weird bc I feel the complete opposite. In my town boys rule. Boy moms are cool, girl moms drool. There is a culture around boy momness and none around girl momness. Boys are crazy and cool and loud and girls are “dramatic”. I have a little girl and I couldn’t be happier, I actually started to despise the boy moms in my community because it’s an exclusive club that frankly I didn’t even want to be a part of.

Please please can you tell me what acid foods did you eat to get your girl and when did you eat them ? For example a few days before intercourse or a week before or literally hours before. Sorry to be so personal but I’m trying so hard to put my plan together but am a bit worried about the acid diet as I’ve been told it’s dangerous if you do it for too long. It should only be for a very short time and some foods may be acid but actually turn alkaline when digested. Is orange juice and sprite ok? As I’m going to try them there acid and vitamins c. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your daughter is gorgeous by the way , hope I’m as lucky 🍀.
Hopefully you read my comment I don't know when I ovulate bcuz it's different every month so that sucks for me but at first positive Opk you ovulate within 48 hours and I know last month I did 3 days cut off and I didn't get pregnant for 2 months now so 2-4 day shettles says is good I'll try for a 2 day cut off.
Sounds like the right thing to do; my ovulation is also all over the place so it does make following this method hard but it's definitely successful so keep trying. Hope you have success with it soon x

I agree with the old fashioned crap about gender disappointment or "stopping now because you have one of each" i was so annoyed and anxious about the whole thing with our second baby i refused to tell anyone what we were having or if we even knew because i didnt want people ragging on him for having a penis. Course then i got as soon as he had been born "so are you going to try again to get a girl?" as though he was some kind of mistake. People can shove their opinions up their bottoms. I LOVE my sons and couldnt care less about their genitals. I mean really is that an achievement? How about them being a person. I could have a baby assigned female at birth only to have them turn out trans.
Aw you're little girl is so beautiful 🥰, I had a miscarriage almost seven months ago, I had a feeling it was another third boy. So my husband and I decided to wait until last month to start trying again. So I been doing the gender swaying for a girl. Since I always wanted to have both genders. I strick with my diets, making sure I wasn't close to my ovulation. Curious to know if it work for me. I know my mom did the swaying for my little brother and it worked, she didn't changed her eating habits but making sure she was close to her ovulation :)
My first baby is an amazing baby boy and my second was a beautiful girlie, I love both of them with all my heart, had a miscarriage 3 years ago and now we are ready to think about baby number 3, I always get “why do you want 3 you’ve got one of each” I’m happy with both of my children, I wouldn’t change my daughter for the world but boys are so much more lovely and gentle and I’d have a million boys if I could! I know this is a really old video but had to comment. I have 2 boys atm but hoping for one or two more. I do agree about girls when they're grown up. A son is a son til he gets a wife but a daughter is a daughter for all of her life. I do think that's true for me and a lot of my friends. However I would rather have 4 boys than 4 girls. A)little girls have the whole clique thing going on. B)I was a nightmare as a teenage girl. It's way more then that. You never get to buy tights or dresses or hair bows, etc. when they are little. When they are adults, moms and daughters are best friends, talk about relationships, go to lunch together and get manis and pedis etc.. I have 2 girls and a boy, i know from experience. I call moms of all boys a name also and that's Jealous. That comes mainly from them ruining Take Your Daughter To Work Day. They complained because they were to naive to understand the concept behind how and why it started regarding females in the work force.
Just because this is your experience of your son and daughters doesn’t mean it’s everyone’s. These are the type of gender stereotypes that cause gender disappointment in the first place. Be kind to people who might not be as lucky as you to get the exact family makeup they were hoping for
@J: I totally agree with you. I would never dream of having a daughter so that I can dress her up or believe that she will turn out to be my "best friend" when she is an adult. Every child-regardless of its gender-is their own person. Not every girl will love princess dresses and hair bows and not every boy is a trouble maker. I'm not even expecting a baby yet but this was suggested because I was curious and honestly, I've been nervous. I feel like I have all these expectations of what having a baby will be like and when you said "be kind to yourself. It's your family. It's gonna be absolutely perfect whatever it is." I wanted to cry. Idk why I'm putting so much pressure on myself. Literally no one else in my family is asking or pushing me to have kids yet so idk. I know I'm not even ready yet so there's no reason I should be so worried.

My husband and I practiced the shettles method to conceive our second baby (we already have a baby girl and just wanted a boy) and it worked! We are having a baby boy in September.

I think it just depends on what personality the individual child has and not that it takes after a certain parent. I have a girl (5) and she was and is so happy, easy going child - I guess a bit like me and my husband. Then we have a boy (4) who is exactly the opposite of all of us. From the minute he was born he was what I call your typical boy! Very wingy, cried constantly as a baby. And now he’s the same but older really, very Mardy, crazy whirlwind, never sits still, very bossy, very demanding. A very hard work child. Obv I love him to bits but it is exhausting. I’m now pregnant with another boy (so I will have a girl and 2 boys). I’m going to be honest and say I’m a little worried he’ll be another crazy whirlwind. We’ve not treated my daughter or my son any different and in my experience girls are much easier then boys and my boy is def the rough and tumble type 110%. I just hope this next baby boy is a little bit more relaxed. Overall I don’t really think there is a of behaviour linked to boys or girls I just think it depends on their individual personality they were born with.

Aww SJ, I loved this video. I'm not sure whether to call it luck or a blessing, but we have one of each. Our baby girl came first and when we got pregnant again, everyone would ask what we were hoping for. Me and my husband have always just said, a healthy baby. We didn't find out, until the day he was born. We've had several comments over the years, how we're a complete family. Mam, Dad, Daughter & Son. I don't feel my family is complete at all, I would love another baby, my husband agree too. Whether it will happen, or not, I'm not sure. I was one of 3, I have two older brothers. xx

You have so quickly become one of my favourite people to watch, you're so genuine and lovely. I really enjoyed this video, and the small taste of gender disappointment (not to mention the into to gender swaying, something I had not heard of)! Were people happy for you when you told them you were having a boy for your first? I find so many seem to think we are always aiming for a girl, when the vast majority of the friends I have spoken to want at least one boy.

I think most of what people say is just stupid streyotypes anyway. My cousin who is a girl has a terrible relationship with her mum they argue all the time and are definitely not friends or close at all. Where as my other cousin who is boy is a complete mummy boy so loving, affectionate and close to his mum. I think it depends on the child's personality if they are quite or loud and the ability of the parents to discipline inappropriate behaviour in either gender
Yes that's a great point; so many girls and their mums have tough relationships. Happy you are so close to your parents; it must be lovely being an only child and be a little team of three xx
SJ Strum Yes being team of three is great. There are definitely pros and cons to being a only child like anything. I was very shy growing up and I do wish I had a close bond with a sister or brother in adulthood and sometimes it's lonely. Your kids are so lucky to have a lifelong friend
I do think they give each other confidence, sometimes too much when they gang up on me at bedtime - ha ha! Each family is so unique it's so interesting. (I was also super shy when I was young and still can be!) SJ x

All our babies are gifts from God and come to us for a reason 😊🙏

Great video SJ! I think that it's true that you want what you grew up with yourself. I don't have kids yet but in future. I'm a only child with my mum and dad and I've always wanted to have only 1 child which would be a girl. I want to create the great relationship I have with my mum best friends, shopping etc. I'm a very girly person so I would be worried about know what to do with a boy in future I think I would be so clueless. I worry that I wouldn't be as close or have that friendship (in adulthood) to a boy which I know is stupid. I just worry that I wouldn't be as excited for a boy as for a girl. But I know all of the boy things I'm worried about are just stupid streyotypes anyway
Yes the funny thing is your baby boy can be just like their dad and you normally love them :-) so the relationship is super sweet with a baby boy xxxxx

Now my husband and I are going to try to conceive a baby number three. I've always wanted a daughter but I really appreciate what you've said about being kind to yourself not listening to external pressure and noise and that the family will be perfect no matter what! ive just managed to watch this! :) very interesting. i always get negative comments about having 3 boys which upsets me. its always 'will u try for a girl?' like my boys arnt good enough!! if we had another than it would be amazing and actually would it be wrong if i wanted another boy? its all i know! i think every baby is a miracle regardless of the sex and were all extremely lucky to be able to concieve :) evalina is adorable xx
It's such a shame isn't it to get negative comments; as if your gorgeous baby's are just 'failed attempts for girls'!!!! I don't even think people mean it but they just comment as a reflex almost; I got loads of comments just about my second son. If we had a 4th I think I'd love another boy!!!!! I couldn't agree more with this, I have two girls and had a loss inbetween which I'm sure was a boy. Due to sickness I won't be having any more but will always wonder about being a boy mum but I can't imagine not having two girls too, that are also mud and snails 😂

I had two boys and fell pregnant unexpectedly when my second son was 5 months old with a girl. I wanted 3 kids and I do admit I wanted my third to be a girl. My husband comes from a family where girls are almost extinct and I was so sure number 3 was also a boy. Needless to say I was immensely happy when I found out at my scan that she was a girl. If I had planned my third I was planning on doing the Shettles method. My sister did it twice and had a boy then a girl.
I have 3 boys and have vlogged rather honestly about my gender ‘disappointment’ and about the comments I receive (and still receive!) from people about my all boy family. We did shettles method with 2 of my babies and then I later found out that his theory has been completely debunked!
So I’m due to ovulate in the next 24 hours as I got my solid smiley this morning. We BD yesterday morning and night so will see what happens - hope we’ve done it enough 🤞🏼❤️ xxx

In middle eastern or indian pakistani cultures it's so great to have boys. Don't worry about that. But I guess not having a girl for a bit, it must be hard. I had girl boy girl boy. I was extremely lucky but wasn't fussed either way. My husband desperately wanted a boy but girl was first.now he remarried and had 2 more girls.

Yes but in western society girls are now valued more look at the amount of women wanting girls posted here on you tube how many are there that favoured boys not many.
all babies are a blessing and gender doesn't determine a personality. I disagree that your boy will just be like your husband whatever his character is as children are individuals and some boys are more like their mothers and some girls are more like their fathers. I worry a bit that if you are determined for one sex you are more determined for a personality, like you are desperate for pink and will therefore be disappointed if you have a tomboy and you might end up closer to one of your boys. The whole boys are smelly and rough I think adds to this problem with boys feeling like they can't open up as much.
To conceive a girl you have sex between 2-5 days before you ovulate. Have sex as soon as the period stops until you are up to a few days before. For a boy it’s at ovulation not before. Girls are slower and stronger boys weaker but faster, so use shallow penetration and spooning position. We’re hoping for a girl in June.

I'm a mom of two boys 20 and 19, were thinking of trying for a girl, I've always wanted a daughter or sister as I grew up with two very boystrous brothers, so did my husband so boys ruled our lives . Haha, we want to try now because of my age and that we can't put it off any longer. I'm still on cerazette mini pill so won't have a clue when I ovulate, but want to be pregnant by end of 2018, any tips on timing would be useful. Did you do the diet on girl foods acid diet how long did you do that for? Was it like a month before you were trying or two weeks before just been told the acid ph in your diet is unhealthy for too long so was wondering when is the time to try.

I have 2 girls and I felt that when I was pregnant with my second daughter that everyone assumed I wanted a boy and also that a lot of people expected my husband to be disappointed with another girl, which wasn't the case at all. We never found out either time although I did have a feeling both times that I was having a girl! That's so funny about the SMOG as I always feel that its the parents of one of each that have achieved 'perfect family' in society's terms haha. We aren't having a third I don't think but I would be happy with another girl or a boy xx

Definitely mums of girls only that were smug or smog should I say when my children were younger. I had both sexes and was told by some people that I must have been disappointed when the boys were born. Actually no how could I have possibly been disappointed with any of my gorgeous children.
So do you stop having sex when you get a surge on the ovulation kits?
You use the ovulation kits to figure out when you surge/ovulate for a couple of months; then you start trying to conceive and for a girl you stop 4-6 days before you're due to ovulate. x
@@SJ_Strum my cycle is 28 days I test with clear blue my LH surge is detected on day 13 and day 14 but day 13 is when i CM so do i stop tryi g 4 days before my LH surge is detected?
It’s weird bc I feel the complete opposite. In my town boys rule. Boy moms are cool, girl moms drool. There is a culture around boy momness and none around girl momness. Boys are crazy and cool and loud and girls are “dramatic”. I have a little girl and I couldn’t be happier, I actually started to despise the boy moms in my community because it’s an exclusive club that frankly I didn’t even want to be a part of.
I have both genders but have never heard of this boymom/girlmom thing. How very AWFUL! Babies are a gift from God. All of them!

Loved this video!! I have 2 boys and We are trying for no 3. Hand on my heart I will be happy with either sex. Im just dreading the comments once I'm pregnant. My family are very girly. I have a sister, she has one of each and all my cousins have had girls or one of each and I feel like they pitty me for having 2 boys 🙈 It takes away some of the joy and excitement of the pregnancy. I might go into hiding until the baby is born 😂😂

Please please can you tell me what acid foods did you eat to get your girl and when did you eat them ? For example a few days before intercourse or a week before or literally hours before. Sorry to be so personal but I’m trying so hard to put my plan together but am a bit worried about the acid diet as I’ve been told it’s dangerous if you do it for too long. It should only be for a very short time and some foods may be acid but actually turn alkaline when digested. Is orange juice and sprite ok? As I’m going to try them there acid and vitamins c. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your daughter is gorgeous by the way , hope I’m as lucky 🍀.
Hopefully you read my comment I don't know when I ovulate bcuz it's different every month so that sucks for me but at first positive Opk you ovulate within 48 hours and I know last month I did 3 days cut off and I didn't get pregnant for 2 months now so 2-4 day shettles says is good I'll try for a 2 day cut off.
Sounds like the right thing to do; my ovulation is also all over the place so it does make following this method hard but it's definitely successful so keep trying. Hope you have success with it soon x

My babies so far have been boys. We would like a girl but can only try. I agree with the old fashioned crap about gender disappointment or "stopping now because you have one of each" i was so annoyed and anxious about the whole thing with our second baby i refused to tell anyone what we were having or if we even knew because i didnt want people ragging on him for having a penis. Course then i got as soon as he had been born "so are you going to try again to get a girl?" as though he was some kind of mistake. People can shove their opinions up their bottoms. I LOVE my sons and couldnt care less about their genitals. I mean really is that an achievement? How about them being a person. I could have a baby assigned female at birth only to have them turn out trans.

So my husband and I decided to wait until last month to start trying again. So I been doing the gender swaying for a girl. Since I always wanted to have both genders.
I strick with my diets, making sure I wasn't close to my ovulation. Curious to know if it work for me.
I know my mom did the swaying for my little brother and it worked, she didn't changed her eating habits but making sure she was close to her ovulation :)
My first baby is an amazing baby boy and my second was a beautiful girlie, I love both of them with all my heart, had a miscarriage 3 years ago and now we are ready to think about baby number 3, I always get “why do you want 3 you’ve got one of each” I’m happy with both of my children, I wouldn’t change my daughter for the world but boys are so much more lovely and gentle and I’d have a million boys if I could! Xx

I know this is a really old video but had to comment. I have 2 boys atm but hoping for one or two more. I do agree about girls when they're grown up. A son is a son til he gets a wife but a daughter is a daughter for all of her life. I do think that's true for me and a lot of my friends. However I would rather have 4 boys than 4 girls. A)little girls have the whole clique thing going on. B)I was a nightmare as a teenage girl.
I do sometimes look at my youngest boy and think oh imagine of you were a girl but he such a baldy bruiser hed look so odd 😂

It's way more then that. You never get to buy tights or dresses or hair bows, etc. when they are little. When they are adults, moms and daughters are best friends, talk about relationships, go to lunch together and get manis and pedis etc.. I have 2 girls and a boy, i know from experience. I call moms of all boys a name also and that's Jealous. That comes mainly from them ruining Take Your Daughter To Work Day. They complained because they were to naive to understand the concept behind how and why it started regarding females in the work force.
Just because this is your experience of your son and daughters doesn’t mean it’s everyone’s. These are the type of gender stereotypes that cause gender disappointment in the first place. Be kind to people who might not be as lucky as you to get the exact family makeup they were hoping for
@J: I totally agree with you. I would never dream of having a daughter so that I can dress her up or believe that she will turn out to be my "best friend" when she is an adult. Every child-regardless of its gender-is their own person. Not every girl will love princess dresses and hair bows and not every boy is a trouble maker. And I don't think that boys moms are jealous when they don't have a daughter. That's just ridicilous.
