    Basically hang glider control bars plus yaw. Brilliant design!

    They need to make a belt that doesn't release until props stop spinning, save for emergencies, or a prop extender on landing so people aren't getting their necks chopped off. Nice to see.

  • @Spxder
    @Spxder 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ok, now mass-produce them with a cage around the blades and a reserve parachute for extra precaution, a muffler so it's not so loud, a bigger fuel tank for extended flights and a more comfortable seat. You can probably even build a plastic dome around the pilot, making it safe for flying through the rain and for better comfort. Then sell them at an affordable price, and you got a new company worth billions.

    I've spent hours trying to find out where this man got the parts to build this. Looks to me like a counter-rotating blade assembly and a large leaf blower engine of some sort... kinda dangerous, but it's awesome and I'd feel safer in that then a sport bike!

  • @ColonelKlank
    @ColonelKlank 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    I like a lot of things about this one. The counter rotating blades keep you from spinning out. All the weight is at the bottom, so you can't get it way out of shape. It needs a blade guard though!

    u know to make this more user friendly?add a guard that stops objects as big as the helmet type you require already with the craft.if this could last a lot longer and have like a sac hooked up for cargo with like a wirechain and enough slack to land a few feet away if you need to.antimatter powered?it may be a microscopic crumb that equates to like as much fuel to travel 40 miles.i know people think if itll be too dangerous,but itll be above people between a column of steel to reflect into space

    Gees the head would be buzzing for a few hours after that flight. Concept seems plausible. Personally I would prefer three (triangulated) dual-rotors. More stable. And seat the pilot lower for even more stability. Oops the cost just jumped 4-fold. If a motor blows I'm screwed either way.

  • @gracore
    @gracore 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    No it doesnt, There isnt one point in this video where the blades have more than idle power except when his right hand is on what must be the throttle lever on the right control post, and he stears it by moving the two control posts which angle the whole engine and blades. thats why it isnt ridged. He is the pilot.

    apparently more problematic in terms of swashplates... but coaxials are sick. I am currently looking into building a similar device and am still trying to figure out the physics behind it. This thing looks like a lawnmower hat. I am confused how such a small engine can provide the required force to overcome the 800 N needed to lift a human being from terra firma. If anyone got some ideas or knowledge hit me up ... it would be appreciated
