Have had mine for several years now and I got it precisely for the versatility you mentioned at the end. I really do love the sound AND the look of them. The woodgrain gives each a unique quality, but that does mean anybody buying one is probably gonna want to see a picture of the exact guitar first (especially if there are options).
Not long ago, I got a Godin Radium in Carbon Black. Tone and sustain for miles. Superbly crafted guitar. Great review, thanks Leigh. Greetings from Arizona.
I've had one for a few years & it's AWESOME! It sounds great, it plays great, it feels great & it's well built. I ALWAYS put my right angled cable inside my strap to ANY guitar, the cable won't go anywhere!
@@LeighFugeGuitar no sadly. Got the Strat out of the shop has been the extent of things lately. Just a tuneup and new strings. The taxman cometh and left me no play money. 😞 Take care!!!
I'm lucky enough to have the Radium LTD edition of 100 guitars they issued. Much prettier than the carbon black and supercharged with Bare Knuckle Boot Camp True Grit Zebra humbuckers. An outstandingly versatile guitar, one of four Godin's in my arsenal.
Awesome review! What do you think of the middle pick up? Just pick mine last week and really loving the tones except the middle pick up. Maybe if they made the middle pick up a little bit hotter like 7.1k it could be utilized more.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. I’m pretty sure I was using the Blackstar St James 6L6 for this video, but I don’t remember what overdrive I used. There should be a timestamp on the video to a segment where I show the rig I’m using 😃
Why would they split the pickups in position 5 and 1. Wouldn’t it be better to have it that way only when you’re in the split pickup setting? It would’ve given them twice the sound options no?
I don't recall ever saying that I "Love Godin so much" They're really cool guitars, but this particular model, although it is an absolute killer, visually it's really not for me and I have too many Tele style guitars that I already love. I can really appreciate this particular model for what it is and what it does, but it's not one I personally would add to my collection. It plays fantastic though. If I was in the market for a Humbucker loaded T style this would be on my consideration list (If they made it in anything other than brown! haha) I only had this (and another Godin) on loan from the brand to get into some videos. I'd like to own one, one day. There are a lot of guitars that I really like but don't own.
I love your channel leigh really i hope to see you to be your friend and play guitar with you its my dream i love your music you are an amazing artist really i hope this 2024 my dreams it comes true to play guitar in Uk with pop uk artists and find a girl in Uk with blonde hair its my dream ❤❤❤🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🎸🎸🌞🌟🌟🏴🏴🏴🎸🎸

In some of the demos I’ve noticed the were kinda bright. I’m assume you’re able to dial that back with the tone tho no?

bought one about a year ago... love it, great blues ripper.
Amazing guitar!
That was an excellent review. Very well done
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it
Godin Makes fine guitars I don't have one but I have used them.
Yeah they're great. I had this and another model on loan from the brand and they play great!
Pretty cool & nice tones
Very tasty playing as always my friend 👍👍
Thanks so much for checking it out, glad you enjoyed 😃
Nothing too fancy but great sound, such a gorgeous instrument
It sounds and plays great, I don't love the colour... but I'm sure there are plenty of people who will dig the colour!
Thanks!
Thanks so much Steven! Appreciate it! You added anything new to the arsenal?!

It’s a pretty cool guitar!

I like the trebly tone there. I'd use it to mimic all the jazz master artists that I love. For shoegaze
Excellent review BTW, loved your critique, very thorough and comprehensive.
Wow great review. what amp or amp modelling you are using?

Try the Radium X if you can.. You'll love it also..
Almost had that “Cause We Ended As Lovers” Jeff Beck thing going
RAAAAAATT!!!
Well spotted!! Can't beat Ratt!
Épatant !
If you love Godin guitars so much, why don't you own any? I don't mean to criticise, it is an honest (and fair) inquiry.

Could you move the volume pot yourself with a drill?
I think Godin is pronounced a bit like Chopin, the classical composer.
coil splits are anemic
Yea, completely useless on most guitars that have that option tbh.
Aha, thought I heard a Welsh accent. . .
You heard correctly 😃
