He’s a dancer, singer, song writer, producer, mentor, pianist, guitarist, global ambassador, actor, a CEO in his own huge company, etc. Lay is actually considered as China’s biggest and wealthiest young artist in 2020 all because of his passion and hard work. Despite all the achievements, he remain a very humble person like it’s already in the nature of each individual in their group. “EXO works hard but Lay hyung works harder” this is according to his Exo members. If you don’t know EXO is one of the groups that have struggled a lot and very hard but still manage to remain on top and be humble.
I just can’t wait for the day Zhang Yixing to be back on the stage with his brothers. I miss him as EXO Lay badly. I avoid the song Promise because it is very sad and nostalgic song. So many things happened on a particular year and I would love to believe they released that song to calm us fans down. No, you got it wrong. It's true his mum signed him up for piano classes and like any other child, he wasn't interested in it and only wanted to play games. It was during one of those days where he was supposed to be practicing playing the piano that he thought that if he broke the piano then he wouldn't have to practice playing it anymore and so he took a penknife and made a huge slash on it which was caught by his mum and that's why she punished him by locking him outside.

I am not sure whether this introduction is a new one or a previous one. For now Lay has more brand deals. He publicized his 3rd album "Namanana“ in 2018, one EP "Honey" in 2019 and the 4th album "Lit" in 2020. Furthermore this year he shot one variety show called "CZR2-I'm singer song-writer" (sadly there is only one episode uploaded on TH-cam). In this show he performed 9 new songs composed by himself. I am so sad that due to copyright those songs have not been officially released yet. The only song which was officially released is the remix version of "Descendants of the Dragon". But you can find all the live performances on TH-cam. One of my favorite songs is "Joker" and I recommend it if you have chance to listen. Also, Lay had his first solo concert in 2019 called Grandline. :D :D :D I'm glad you had your thirst aid nearby XD Lay and Kai have way different dance styles, but are equally good (and Sehun too, he's just never mentioned as much) He composed songs from all his solo albums and eps and wrote lyrics to some of those too. He's credited as one of the lyricists for Honey too for both English and Chinese versions. He's adorable and innocent, but then again he's deadly sexy a second later. When I first found EXO a few months back I didn't really notice him that much (thanx SM) but he was a contestant/judge at one of Chinese survival programs called SDC2 - I'm a Singer-songwriter and that's when he became one of my 3 EXO biases. The way his mind works is amazing and he's so unpredictable XD He's still close to the members and whenever he goes to Korea they usually go out to eat together (especially with Sehun and Suho I believe). During SDC2 he showed the other songwriters that his phone home screen is EXO group photo. And a few months later during a live promotion/press conference of another show Street Dance of China 3 where he was a team leader he just casually started dancing a choreo to their pre-debut song History XD Some of his endorsements now are: MAC Cosmetics, Biotherm Homme, Calvin Klein (avoid all ads XD trust me on that), Converse and of course Valentino. Well, these are only the ones I remember right now XD The clip at 13:11 is from their first solo concert in 2014. Each member had a short solo stage depending on what the member chooses. They still do that during their concerts. The clip right after that is from their concert VCR where they show all three main dancers :) As for their Winter albums you'll see that they are not necessarily Christmas-sy. Sure, there are songs like "What I Want For Christmas" or "Christmas Day", but then there are also songs like "Universe" or "The Star" :D All of them are vocal goodness though so it's so worth it

I came into kpop after watching the cdrama The Mystic Nine. I didn’t think he was really that beautiful but I quickly fell into EXO. Love him and support all of his work. BALANCE! That seems to be Lay's favorite word. Lay really is a workaholic so fans constantly worry. He works on his music all the time, even at airports. He tries to personally read all his fan mail. You saw his video where he reacts to people reacting to "Lit." That is his true shy, humble side. That doesn't mean he doesn't get feisty. When his critics called him a white lotus, he made a song saying he was "Lit", which sounds like lotus in Mandarin. When haters called him nothing but a sheep, he made a song calling himself the "China Sheep". In the earlier days of EXO, people used to say Lay was on drugs cause he looked like he was stoned all the time. I believe that was due to one of his hemophilia medications. Lay is actually scared of all birds; anything with sharp beaks and mouths really. This is because of his hemophilia and fear of getting pecked, bitten, etc. and not being able to clot. He suffers from back and waist injuries but haven't had any surgeries because of his condition. I mentioned before that Lay and Kai, the two main dancers, have the biggest duality in EXO. For myself, Kai is more child-like (enthusiastic, shy, mischievous) while Lay tends to be more naive and clueless except when it comes to his work. No, you got it wrong. It's true his mum signed him up for piano classes and like any other child, he wasn't interested in it and only wanted to play games. It was during one of those days where he was supposed to be practicing playing the piano that he thought that if he broke the piano then he wouldn't have to practice playing it anymore and so he took a penknife and made a huge slash on it which was caught by his mum and that's why she punished him by locking him outside.

I am not sure whether this introduction is a new one or a previous one. For now Lay has more brand deals. He publicized his 3rd album "Namanana“ in 2018, one EP "Honey" in 2019 and the 4th album "Lit" in 2020. Furthermore this year he shot one variety show called "CZR2-I'm singer song-writer" (sadly there is only one episode uploaded on TH-cam). In this show he performed 9 new songs composed by himself. I am so sad that due to copyright those songs have not been officially released yet. The only song which was officially released is the remix version of "Descendants of the Dragon". But you can find all the live performances on TH-cam. One of my favorite songs is "Joker" and I recommend it if you have chance to listen.
Also, Lay had his first solo concert in 2019 called Grandline. For his live performance, besides stages with EXO, I recommend the official concert version of "Boss", his "Lit" live in this year, and the performance in TMEA last year (Sheep remix ver.+Lay U Down+Honey).
For the relationship with EXO members, besides Luhan and Kris (as they left EXO), Lay is good with Baekhyun. In last Christmas he and Baekhyun went shopping together in Korea. Although he is inactive in EXO (due to many reasons), he still goes to Korea and meet with EXO members often. Last year he flight to Korea about 16 (or 18?) times. And his screensaver is EXO.

Omg! When you’ll finish those guides you should definitely watch them on “men on a mission” it’s a show (available on Netflix) Where idols/actors are the guests! He composed songs from all his solo albums and eps and wrote lyrics to some of those too. He's credited as one of the lyricists for Honey too for both English and Chinese versions.
He's adorable and innocent, but then again he's deadly sexy a second later. When I first found EXO a few months back I didn't really notice him that much (thanx SM) but he was a contestant/judge at one of Chinese survival programs called SDC2 - I'm a Singer-songwriter and that's when he became one of my 3 EXO biases. The way his mind works is amazing and he's so unpredictable XD
He's still close to the members and whenever he goes to Korea they usually go out to eat together (especially with Sehun and Suho I believe). During SDC2 he showed the other songwriters that his phone home screen is EXO group photo. And a few months later during a live promotion/press conference of another show Street Dance of China 3 where he was a team leader he just casually started dancing a choreo to their pre-debut song History XD

BALANCE! That seems to be Lay's favorite word. Lay really is a workaholic so fans constantly worry. He works on his music all the time, even at airports. He tries to personally read all his fan mail. You saw his video where he reacts to people reacting to "Lit." That is his true shy, humble side. That doesn't mean he doesn't get feisty. When his critics called him a white lotus, he made a song saying he was "Lit", which sounds like lotus in Mandarin. When haters called him nothing but a sheep, he made a song calling himself the "China Sheep". In the earlier days of EXO, people used to say Lay was on drugs cause he looked like he was stoned all the time. I believe that was due to one of his hemophilia medications. Lay is actually scared of all birds; anything with sharp beaks and mouths really. This is because of his hemophilia and fear of getting pecked, bitten, etc. and not being able to clot. He suffers from back and waist injuries but haven't had any surgeries because of his condition.
I mentioned before that Lay and Kai, the two main dancers, have the biggest duality in EXO. For myself, Kai is more child-like (enthusiastic, shy, mischievous) while Lay tends to be more naive and clueless except when it comes to his work. Yes, Lay was a child actor and continues to act regularly. I'd say he and D.O. have done the most acting. Lay has that adorable dimple on his right side and Chanyeol has a cute dimple on the left side of his face.
As for EXO's Christmas albums I think it's more accurate to call them winter albums. I dislike holiday songs as well. A lot of EXO's winter songs are very popular with the general public in Korea. EXO's "First Snow" came out 7-8 years ago and yet every year when the first snow falls in Korea, this song trends to the top. Miracles in December is also a popular one. I'd like to make a suggestion that when you listen to these songs, especially Miracles in December, please find a video that has the lyrics added to the MV by fans so you can understand the song while listening. I feel this is better than reading the lyrics on its own before/after hearing the songs.
