Is there a specific reason for the salt to form such defined cuboid shapes even in the microscopic realm. Correct me if I am wrong, I believe the salt crystal should be in nm.
I think that because of the cubic atomic placement between de Na and Cl atoms , the crystal tend to form the same shape , its pretty logical, by putting and stacking a lot of cubes on top of each other and next to each other you also get a cubic shape! 😁
