HI Ran. I have a question about webflow. I am currently working on Figma. IN the near future I wanna build websites using webflow. But I can not understand one thing that is webflow only for design or after finishing all the details like the actual website I can actually run it as my website. I can not understand this. Do you need webflows CMS/hosting for these kind of results, or could you export code and use these designs in a server of your own?
You can export it as code and host it somewhere else, if you don't use the CMS or E-coms feature.
It's all there. The site can be static? Export (but, for example, forms will not work and you'll need a third party).
Need CMS/Ecom? Webflow hosting.

Ran, do you use webflow for all hosting or a third party like siteground? I was looking into siteground as they seem to have a really good and fast email / domain services but could it be a headache if I wan't to make changes on my or my clients sites down the road? Great vid btw :)

how do you do something like that animation at 4:10? was that done in webflow
you can create an element trigger ( mouse hover over element) ; or you can do from mouse hover action ; basically change to the different layer of image. So there are multiple ways to do it ;) I wish I could show you but Im lazy =D
My takeaway is make your website just like apple.

Could you post a video on how to make a "header" like Kubo-patisserie? As in, starts with a fullpage logo+background and on scroll it fixes the nav bar to the top page?

Its not really programming. Its more of a design tool. Its powerful and useful for building websites, but like WordPress or Squarespace or Wix, its not programming.
