A woman was the talk
of not the community, not the city, not the province but the entire country and
maybe even beyond. I mean the first-time real things are happening in the
country, in Lusaka and this even took place less than 15km away from my school
so we got the news quick and probably before others. I imagine one of our
teachers went to the bank that day and couldn’t withdraw anything because they
had been robbed. It felt so unreal, like this is probably just a rumor, a
cautionary tale for bank tellers and people with bank accounts, except it
wasn’t. By lunch time everyone in the school was talking about the robbery at Longacres
