Good tip for storage. Also attach a fan to a wooden coat hanger. Dries my suit in a few hours even if it's cool out.

Thanks for the great tips! I also dry the inside first then flip it to the outside so it's ready to go. I just got my first chest zip suit and notice that the inside flaps stay damp so they don't dry or at least dry too slowly. So now I dry both sides then turn the areas where the flaps attach inside out to get that last bit dry. In more damp weather I hang my suit in the garage where I can blow a high velocity fan on it. The air movement dries it quickly even in damp weather. A last tip that may not be for everyone is rinsing the suit in a tub and after letting the suit drip for a bit, I carefully lay it around the tub in my top loader washing machine. I run it on spin only (no rinse or agitation) and that gets a lot of water out of it. My last suit lasted over 6 years with no damage at all but still be careful if you try this. It's not so easy in some machines. I've never had to use any treatments for "wetsuit funk" & I credit rinsing my suits right away and quickly drying them for this. Thanks again!

Doing what you just did chuck a folded towel over it so it creates a rounder edge placing even less pressure it even helps it dry (just make sure you change your towel if you want to store it). :)

For hangers, I highly recommend the C-monsta. Hang your gloves, boots and suit all in one go.

If these were around when I shot the video they’d definitely have got a mention. I’ve never used one, but they look great.

@@TheSurfingConnoisseur expensive as you say, but it does exactly what it says on the tin and does it well. It is also made in the UK, so it doesn't get shipped around the world twice before it lands on my door!

@@AngusMcIntyre C Monsta weren’t around when I shot this video (2015) so I wasn’t talking about them. Back then it was basically just a thick plastic hanger. C Monsta product offers more functionality. As I say, would have gave them a shout if they were around!

add a pool noodle to the hanger before you put the wetsuit on it to spread the load out!

I also think if you are going to buy a good wetsuit, buy a good wetsuit hanger. If you have a cheap wetsuit, pad the hanger with a thick pipe insulator. This makes the hanger puncher and nick proof and disperses the pressure.

Another tip, use a pipe insulator and put it on the bar of the hanger, this will be less strain on the wetsuit.

i got not slide hanger. so i can use the normal hanger to act like a slide hanger? to dry the wet suit in my backyard of the shade? can i dry it in my room?

As long as it's not stretching the neck - like in the video you can even hang directly over the line. I wouldn't te comes drying in your room, as the moisture will disperse into your room; outside or washrooms are definitely best! If you do decide to use your room, try to ventilate and have something to catch the water ✌️

Which is better for normal swimsuit, hanging them on string or just drying them on floor as a flat.

I'll be honest I can't be bothered to put my wetsuit inside out 4 times every surf. I have a few suits to avoid having to put a cold wet wetsuit on. I used to dry mine out inside out but now I just leave it hanging over a folded chair in coal house, and I haven't noticed a difference in wear and tear or smell tbh.

That’s fair. It’s definitely a lot of effort if you’re lucky enough to be getting in regularly and have two suits!

Dude check out the other guys channel the wetsuit fan dry or check out using a dehumidifier in a room but waiting two days for your wetsuit to dry that's just silly and making a video that says to wait two days for your wetsuit to dry is kind of silly
