+TKD in my blood Hi! thanks for watching! During my peak training, my training hours would range from 5 to 8 hours a day.

+Phillip Yun Hi, how are those hours divided and how many hours do you train when you are peaking?

Mary Nguyen I supplement my Taekwondo training with weight training. I just make sure that I kick BEFORE I lift and that I have at least 3 hours rest before each session.

+Phillip Yun Thank you for getting back to me! What do you believe are the key factors that are responsible for your success so far? Also in regards to your training, how many hours will you train per session and what would you do if you knew you had a kicking session that evening but I also have to get your a lift in within that day?

+Mary Nguyen no problem! Major key to my success was having the drive to win. Everything else tends to work itself out around it. Also, being open - minded to new concepts definitely helps. In regards to your training time management, any work outside of taekwondo is supplemental. You should not be dead- tired every time you start practice. You can schedule your workload and rest period so that you are fully recovered before your kicking session.
