It's very hard for me to level up my contacts, since I don't know what threat I am, but I just can't level up in Waterfront since only 2 Crims and like 3 Enforcers are on there and they never ready up for shit.

Then as soon as I run APB it reverts punkbuster to an outdated version. I really wish they'd switch to an anti-cheat that doesn't run outside the game and that actually bans cheaters instead of having this "benefit of the doubt" system where they unban people on their first PB ban because they know it's unreliable.

I haven't seen a single person in a gold district in months, and probably only a handful of people doing player events or ram-raiding in the last year. And those issues you have having stem from a combination of old game optimization and your software/hardware setup. Yes, the engine should fix issues with certain software/hardware configurations since the engine will be updated to understand how to use newer hardware and how to work alongside newer software. But dropping from 90 fps to 40 fps after 40 minutes is something I have never heard of in all my years playing APB. That doesn't happen to anybody that I know, so that issue may be something rare that only affects a few people using a certain PC build, etc. The only issue I ever encounter was back in RTW and early Closed Beta which was the memory leak that would just eat your RAM like it was a buffet which would slow down the game after 5+ hours of playing. Not sure if they ever fixed the issue or what, but I don't see that happening anymore.

Point of engine update was not just to make the game prettier, a big part was that the previous engine was horrendously difficult to work with for new content, especially maps, hence I guess why we just had a lot of Car Kits, Clothes and Guns and no Maps, and Missions.
Mainly because they're working off of rtws work and engine.. They want the engine update so they can actually make NEW things.. not just reskins.. they don't have much to work with either.. 30 people working the development team :/

This inevitably creates bugs and makes engine updates far harder to implement. By switching over to an even more up-to-date version of Unreal 3 (often referred to as Unreal 3.5) and utilizing more native code and enhancements it should result in a better workflow (less bugs need to be fixed when implementing new things) and performance as well as allowing for easier implementation of any future engine updates. There's also the matter of documentation, Unreal 3.5 has a veritable ass-load of documentation available for it which should also help in any future modification and work.

Tixewi 1. DX12 is a API and it works with Unreal Engine :) So its no prob to add it in there. And yes you can Upgrade an older one. Final Fantasy 14 updated from 9 to 11. Age of Wushu updated to DX12. It is a little work but its possible to do so 2. Yes its only one Engine in the End youre correct. They just update the old Unreal Engine.

looks good, but honestly graphics in apb is not that important. the only thing all we wondering about now is fps. you removed many things from the game (the bullet's traces, fog, and so on), but for "some reason" from patch to patch things are getting worse and worse. new engine gonna optimize the game, and we will see increase in performance, or all this beauty will drop our framerate even harder than now?

Damn, I haven't played this in over a year, stopped playing because nothing was ever new, just a bunch of renamed guns that g1 sold for way too much money. Also the matchmaking was absolutely horrid along with the driving physics. Was near impossible to enjoy because you couldn't do anything without getting face rolled by some high level twink. The "new" engine *cough* higher saturation *cough* looks great and all, but what have you improved gameplay wise?

CoDesigns™ Hahaha, keep believing that, i guess you don't know G1 (MoneyFirst [banned on forum for using that name haha]). Mainly they update it because no one plays it anymore. We, old players of APB are hoping for changes for years and G1 knows it that many will come back just to check new update. And wut "2 versions of unreal engine together" - i guess you have no idea about what you are talking. Right now they just have problems due to closed RTW coding also read more about UE how it works and basically engines.
What they achieved for all these years was destroying the game and milking money from players based on game concept since i for example turned blind for every bad aspect of the game just to enjoy the addicting gameplay. Great game - worst company.
PS. I got perma banned on forum for saying this, if the post is still there ill try to make screenshots of it later :). Unless they ban me here as well.

Actually doesn't look bad, that place really needed some colour. Too bad you've ruined pretty much everything else ever since RTW went bankrupt and you picked up their game.
