I saw that the datastore is set to save data as cookie. Does this mean it is persistent on the db (so anybody can see the likes) or is only stored locally?
Adding this to a post, would I need to replicated the post template I have as a listing template in JetEngine, or would it be a Post Type? Is there an easy way to duplicated that?
Hello , I did this tutorial in Elementor and it works properly. But I tried it in Bricks, the value is uploaded only on reload, not life like Elementor. Is there a way to do it?
You can use Data stores for "Likes" and "Dislikes". If you need to remove the post from Likes when a user clicked on Dislike, it can be done with the help of the custom solution only.
Hello, brother. Have you found any solutions for the like and dislike features? I created two separate data stores-one for likes and another for dislikes. I want to achieve similar functionality: when a user clicks the dislike button, it should decrease the like count if they have already liked the post. If the user clicks dislike directly, it should simply register a dislike.
How can we add a dislike button? If a user has already liked a post and then clicks the dislike button, it should count as one dislike and decrease the like count by one. This is similar to the like and dislike buttons on a TH-cam video. Is it possible to implement this using JetEngine?
you can achieve it with the data store this option will be possible for the logged-in users only in the settings you'll need to choose 'remove from data store'
@@Crocoblock I think you misunderstood my question. I also want to add all dislikes in another store, so in the future we can create some filters based on dislikes.
You show to set it at Cookies, but, in your Data Store video, you mention that will be cleared with the cache. How do we create a Data Store that will show the same likes to every visitor and not be reset? Doesn't seem like any of your options, according to the Data Store video, do that. Seems kind of pointless.
Hi! You could keep the data in User Meta. Then create a query to display how many users added the post to their data store with the help of Query Results count option.
we have a custom solution display view counts for CPT from Osamu Wakabayashi facebook.com/groups/CrocoblockCommunity/posts/8700966936661317/ hope it will help you :)
Hello! You can restrict max size of Data store here prnt.sc/lWYp-nNsLbYq The Dynamic tag Post Count doesn't have an option to modify the format to display numbers. It will display the number as 1000000. Another way to make it work is to use Macros Generator: prnt.sc/jzusJGLhyTGd and Shortcode generator where you can apply callbacks: prnt.sc/gOfFSzDRVegf

Very Informative

Does this work with Bricks?
Hello! Yes, you can use Bricks Builder to create a listing. Add a Data Store button block there. It should work properly! 🤩
@@Crocoblock Thanks Croco team, you're the best!
Thank you. How do you make it such that a Login is required for the Likes? If the user is not logged in, they get prompted to the first login.

@@Crocoblock but in this way it doesn't work with guests. It would be perfect if there was a system to make it permanent also with guests

Now, how do I subtract the total number of dislikes from the total number of likes and show the result of the sum?
