Not only it seems to be a home run but it came out the left field!! Have been awaiting for Audi to finally update the Q5 but now there is a new contender to consider.

Ford/Lincoln have always been at or near the bottom of my list for least favorite brands. This Nautilus however is a stunner. If Lincoln can't sell this it will confirm that it's all about the brand perception.

I have loved my ford products for years, gone from a 2009 Jack Black Roush and a 2008 Town car as a daily driver, to a 2017 F150 5.0 to a 2022 maverick then a 23 F150 Powerboost.. I would never buy a new ford.. The issues I had with the maverick resulted in a small electrical fire and buy back, then the f150 replacement was lemon returned after a total electrical system failure. It had been brought back 6 times in 3 months for the infotainment system randomly dumping, the techs at ford said they couldn't fix it, and eventually the entire body control modulation system failed, this lead to no brakes and no parking brake, as that too was part of the system. Because of all of the tech in this lincoln, i'd suggest waiting till right before the next generation, and buying this one, because i guarantee this one will have major issues.. ford can't seem to figure out quality..

My 2010 and 2019 Ford's have been good so far, not perfect. Did not experience the new Fords and I am definitely concerned that it seems to take Ford 3-4 years to fix all their initial quality/design issues. One of my main concerns with Ford, speaking by experience, is the repair costs after warranty because you are forced to buy large assemblies instead of parts and their vehicles seem to not be designed anymore to help serviceability resulting in high labor costs as well.

I just want Ford to put more effort into being more reliable. Whenever I search online it comes back like a bloodbath of past and present owners recounting their troubles… sigh.

It's all relative - Ford represents like 1/3 of the cars on the road so even if 5% of cars has problems that's like 100x more people complaining online about Ford compared to a brand like Mazda. I've had a lot of Fords over the years and all have had gremlins that I learned to live with (so your point is valid) but I've liked the cars enough to keep coming back.

@@rkalla How often have those gremlins resulted in no brakes, or car fires? How about having to walk? if none, welcome to new ford

@@mikee2794Wow I am a little surprised because of the history of transfer case and driveshaft bearing failures on this powertrain; I had one of them at much lower mileage.

I bought a new Lincoln Nautilus 2024I drove it out of the dealership applying the brakes. Heard in the noise like rubbing chalk across the blackboard. I found out that it is the rotors on all 4 wheels rusting. I asked Lincoln to correct the problem. And they refused. What happens when these rotors get salt on them?Is it something that you have to live with on this car for the rest of the time you owe it ?

I hope these American car makers understand that for too long instead of a real Engineering they have only done a fantastic PR(B$)!, the real reason they are going bankrupt!

A Chinese Built Lincoln. No Thank you. At $60k+, that's a scary proposition to me, and to the American consumer it's a slap in the face from Ford. Volvos are built in China now and their quality, reliability, and longevity is (now) abysmal. This Lincoln, with all it's Chinese firecracker box technology should be the final nail in Lincolns coffin. It's a sad day for the workers in America and Canada that once built great cars. I've owned at least 10 new Ford products for work and pleasure. I'm sure that's over now.
