    Truly wonderful.
    I went "back" to college in my 40s for Architecture. I love it. I could finally take the drafting classes that I wanted to take in high school, but couldn't because I was a girl. My grades exceeded any expectation I had. I even enjoyed calculus!
    Like John, I took a computer art class to counter the intensity of my engineering classes. I was hooked. Then came "Statics" class which is primarily physics and math that is the backbone of engineering. I turned into a monster. I would spend hours on the 1 or 2 homework problems each night. At this point, I had found a new home in the art department, both as a full time student and a job. I switched majors to save my sanity …
