Underworld has remained ahead of everyone else in the electronic genre and even after 30 years of making music they keep finding ways to innovate their signature sound into something new and awe inspiring. This is psychedelic trance music at its best.
I think it's stretching it a little to say that this is one of their best tracks, decent though it is: it just isn't in the same league as Skyscraper I Love You, Two Months Off, Low Burn, Long Dark Train , Never Loved a Film, Rez, Cowgirl et al.

At their experience, they produce what ever the fuck they want! That means being an artist. Expressing yourself and being followed by the only ones that like your work. Bravo, Underworld, for being so free spirited and Label free.
Their so creative visually and musically ive liked them ever since early i mean early 90s. I seen Orbital live at Alexandra Palace for new years eve in 90s. Never had chance to see Underworld yet wanna big time. Im 48 in a month.

Do it mate, when the opportunity comes again during these times. Was a toddler when they toured back in the day, so I first got to see them in 2019 and it was like a dream come true. Very ecstatic experience. They should still be active now though, when there's ample time again
Their collab with Phase is great. Another collab i dream of is with Brando Lupi .He is darker and very hypnotic and it is a stuning producer and also a very very good musician.Absolute beast as a dj too :)

Richie Hawtin/Plasticman is great, but Underworld has been around a lot longer since the first wave of punk began to morph into this danceable sound. Underworld and Gang of Four are Grandaddies of the genre.

Being closed isn't a useful trait for creators, likely to leave you chasing your tail in the dust as the world moves on. I hear the sound influence you refer to in this piece, it was just the "ever heard of them?" part of your comment - I mistook it for sarcasm, like Plasticman was getting ripped here...
