if the team doesn't have a majority of players from a region (Americas/EU/Asia), then they can pick between the two regions that they have two players from AFAIK
My dislike for GR has diminished. Especially seeing how Atox crumbled recently, thank god they are the representatives. To me they either finish top 2 or they finish dead last. Mongolz and Rare Atom are my 2-0 teams here. Even with how shaky RA have been, i have to cope for a Chinese representative. Then the lower bracket. God knows, honestly, toss up. Let's go with Lynn Vision off the back off a Z4kr S1mple run.
With valve wanting to "open the circuit", removing the rmr seems like a step in the wrong direction. I understand the complaints that the rmrs were becoming too big of a spectacle but removing them just creates so many more barriers for new teams in the circuit. Any investment into cs now requires a long term plan and vision, creating new teams from scratch is being disincentivised. Reverting to the old minors system just make more sense to me. Although, they should invite the top 16 teams (based of valve ranking) instead of the teams who qualified to the prior major.
The australian bias is crazy guys, the tierlist should look like upper qual: Mongolz Flyquest lower qual: Rare Atom/Lynn Vision Middle: Alter ego, Drillas 0-2: Talon, GR
Praying for the DRILLAS. Would love to see them make it. Great group of guys and honestly I would rather have that story than lynn vision getting rekt again in group stages
Going to be extremely disappointed if all the Asia RMR talk on stream is going to be about Drillas… your job is to analyse and be impartial, but ultimately choose a side to win based on stats and analysis, not your butt getting hurt.
