Wish lego would do more anesthetics than "modern city", "60s modern city" and "brand" lego is supposed to be all about creativity, yet they don't do original fantasy or sci-fi themes anymore. Most we get is ninjago.
@@Gamer_Dylan_6 Ninjago truly seems to be the last of their fantasy theme. And even in the past they've only really done medieval fantasy or horror. Really wish we'd see some unique fantasy settings. Like they even did Elves back then, and those sets seemed really cool. Wish they'd try something similar.
@@e443productions9 yah, those cyberpunk ninjago sets from a while back could have easily been their own theme. I feel like a post apocalypse theme would also be full of possibilities. I could see a gimmick where you can ruin/restore/reclaim various buildings and vehicles.
That elevator lift mechanism sounded a little janky! Lol. This looks amazing. I own an escape room business and one of my rooms will be a runaway steampunk train. I may buy this as a giveaway! One for me too, of course.
I think I may have placed some of the spiral screw pieces backwards. It's really rough at the bottom but super smooth at the top. That's awesome to hear about your escape room! A steampunk themed room sounds awesome. Thanks for the comment!
Bought mine at Amazon today! Wanted the Harry Potter Collector Train set, it’s beautiful! But did not want to pay over $400! I’m a grandma of 78 years. My one son and his son all love Legos. I got a set for Christmas. And last Christmas, grandpa put the Lego Ghostbuster’s ECTO-1 and I bought the light set. It’s beautiful. But I also love Steam Punk. Did a lot of fun SteamPunk outfits for grandchildren for Halloween. Made a full sized playhouse with a few gears and a porthole. This will be my first FO set. Thanks for the advice! January 30, 2024
i love that you review and expose us to off brand legos. I do have a question, what do you do for your inventory? Do you mix lego and off brand legos? I have a massive collection of inventory pieces all lego i dont know how i would feel with mixing them with off brand lego.
Love this set. Super love the lighting haye seeing the wires everywhere. I purchased the Christmas Carol book from lego and a lighting kit. It made no sense how they ran the wires do they show. My way has virtually no wires showing
Wow, this set is AMAZING. I just got the set for Christmas and seeing what it has is incredible. But can I build the set without using the light kit? It’s pretty cool but I’m not comfortable with these kinds of things. Plus I did a light kit once on a Speed Champions set it looked cool but didn’t liked how the instructions were for it. Also that I couldn’t figured out how I can them on without the USB cord connected.
@@NewBrickerton It was a unexpected present. Didn’t have it on my Christmas list but definitely a great gift, compared to the Dovob Big Ben architecture set. I 100% don’t like it because it isn’t the same scale as LEGO’s brick system. Also impaired vision with smaller pieces like that.
Maybe something to add to future reviews: you mentioned they sent the set for free. After reviewing it, do you personally like it enough that you would have spent your own money on the set?
Yes, the tracks are compatible but for the set they place them on top of a MILS plate essentially so you'd need to build a ramp or elevate the rest of your tracks.
Looks okay. Where it falls short for me is that it looks as though there was no attempt to hide all the wiring. It's all just out there in the open. That breaks the illusion for me and really ruins the set. A lot of the cost for lighting kits is in the engineering it takes to make it look natural by hiding the wiring. It feels as though this company didn't bother with that aspect of the lighting.
So if you had to choose between this or the Pantasy Steampunk Train Station, which would you go for? I’m stuck trying to decide which to go for between both
I collected lego for years. But now the prices are out to lunch. I bought this set and the train and love them. Great quality and great price. It goes to show lego is just pure greed now.
Love the aesthetic tbh! Honestly wish LEGO would have more themes with this aesthetic
Me too! It could definitely be something to learn from. Thanks for the comment!!

@@Gamer_Dylan_6 Ninjago honestly is them trying multiple different themes in one
This set is a gold deal alongside steampunk train. Reminds me a lot about the lego hidden side theme
Yes! I wish hidden side wasn't cancelled, they had some great sets.

Great build with a very good colour combination. And well thought details 💪💪
Glad you like it! I totally agree. Thanks for the comment!
Glad I found your channel... would've never known that these kits existed...
A really beautiful and awesome Trainstation.
Looks magnificent!
Nice review! The train station is a great looking set!!
Thank you so much Clipsie!
Just love the brand name “FunWhole”. A name written by Adult to sell children’s toys! 😂
Hahaha yes! It is quite good. Thanks for the comment!
This Set Has me drooling 🤤
Hope you didn't drool too hard!! Thanks for the support man.
It’s My Pleasure!
Niceeee! FunWhole makes you have fun building. =)
You got that right! Thanks for the support Volvo!
Wow that is awesome,
Absolutely! It's really nice looking. Thank you.
Looks great!
Amazing looking set! Are you gonna ad this to the city?
Absolutely. I'll drop another vid showing the placement! Thanks for the support!!

I'm not super worried about inventory, I mix em all together. It's still mostly lego that is unused.
Love this set. Super love the lighting haye seeing the wires everywhere.

Yes you can! No need to do the lights if you don't want to. Good to see people enjoying Funwhole's sets. Glad you like it!

Good point, I will make sure to touch on this! This set, I would totally buy. Some of the other sets I've reviewed, not so much.
That shit’s badass
Hell yeah. We got train's bussin in and out now
I know the building sets are compatible with Lego, but, Are these tracks compatible with Legos tracks?
Like if I wanted to mix Lego set with this ?
Yes, the tracks are compatible but for the set they place them on top of a MILS plate essentially so you'd need to build a ramp or elevate the rest of your tracks.
Nice I can wait until after Amanda's wedding and I can come back to work and save money?

That's definitely valid. I could've put effort in to hide it, but on most of Funwhole's promo materials they don't really try to hide it
@NewBrickerton great review. Just so you know, the 10% off code does NOT work on their site (1:32)!
So if you had to choose between this or the Pantasy Steampunk Train Station, which would you go for? I’m stuck trying to decide which to go for between both
I might stop being a Lego purist and become a Funwhole purist.

Omg. Steampunk me
Steam me up captain!
Fun Hole. Anybody? Fun Hole ^^ Anybody?
You're definitely not the only one who thought it, lol!!
THIS IS NOT LEGO!!! These are FUNWHOLE BUILDING BRICKS. Please get it right.
