@@albertmihkelulla2254 luck plays its part in many competitions. Portugal's route to the final in 2016 wasn't exactly the trickiest to navigate on paper. I also seem to remember Germany in 2002 getting to the world cup final with quite an easy passage... can't remember the run but I'm pretty sure they had a semi final against South Korea. That's tournament football for you. You can only beat the teams in front of you.

Love seeing english fans moving fast their hands to distract italian players but still lose.
What I don't like too much about Wembley is that, even though it's a football-only stadium, there is quite a lot of space between the goal line and the fans. That probably makes sense for security reasons, but there are other stadiums like the Bernabeu or the Allianz arena where the fans are much closer to the action. And that makes it a bit more exciting for the fans I think.
Didn't they host Olympic matches there as well for track and field?
