The boys from Dublin, Ireland were riding the wave of the British Invasion in the 60s with more of a softer sound focusing on harmonies. They scored six top 40 songs in the two-year period of 1964-66, with this song being the final one. Excellent video!
The Bachelors are my favorite band; I'm so happy to see this posted! Thank you so much! This is also my favorite version of this song. The Bachelors always sang with great emotion and intensity! They appeared three times on the Sullivan show. Many of their hits were remakes of older songs and were all great, but once in awhile they recorded a contemporary song such as this one, and did their usual great job! "Love Me With All Your Heart" charted at number 3 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and 38 on the Hot 100. It was written by Carlos Rigual. After this song, they sang a show-stopping version of "You'll Never Walk Alone", and I hope you will post that someday as well. Thank you again so much for this great video!
@TomElvisSmith I most certainly am. I'm hanging on to these last days of summer! 🌻☀️ It is Beautiful outside today! 💖😊 Have a wonderful weekend! 😊 Have a Peaceful Evening! 🕊
Every winter, every summer, every fall... he missed spring. How about just all year around? ❤ Beautiful song... nice harmonies. Happy Saturday... thank you for sharing! 💖
In America, the first two were I wouldn't trade you for the world, and No arms can ever hold you. They also charted here with Chapel in the moonlight and a couple of others. The album Bachelors' Girls is one of the best of the era
Dig that Martin D-18E~!!!...One of only 302 made. The most famous one was serial #7(made in1959), owned and played by Kurt Cobain and later sold at auction for the incredible price of SIX(6) million dollars June, 2020.
You are CORRECT on that one as far as the original Spanish song version ! ...however, did the original version not come from Spain actually (???) Anyway, this English version does not even come close to the meaning of the original Spanish lyrics... which are far nicer and more romantic I find. . .
The Bachelors were an Irish trio formed by the Cluskey brothers (Conleth and Declan) and Sean Stokes, who with their vocal harmonies and romantic melodies that fused pop with folk and country, achieved some international success in the 60s, especially in the UK. . "Love Me With All Your Heart" is a song whose original title in Spanish would translate into something like "When the Sun heats up", so its original lyrics vary quite a bit from its English version. Personally, I don't think The Bachelors version surpasses Ray Charles Singers (1964) or the later one by the great Engelbert Humperdinck (1970). This publication serves as a tribute to Con Cluskey, who died a year and a half ago at the age of 80 due to complications derived from Covid.
@@that70sgirl90 Thank you for your kind words, but in my case there are also many bands and soloists that I don't even heard about. The explosion of pop music in the form of bands and performers in the 50s and 60s (considering only those from the US and the UK) was such that it is very difficult to have a deep musical knowledge of that time, unless you are dedicating to this... as is the case of Mr. Bob Stanley. In this sense, I would like to suggest his (reference) work "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! The Story of modern pop", a true encyclopedic guide to the birth and development of popular music from the 50s to the current era. Have a nice sunday!
@@VictoriousSage Well, the name was part of the strategy to attract a female audience, that has been written... John Stokes ended up separating from the Cluskey brothers in 1984. It is to be thought that at some point the members of the trio must have gotten married, however In the 90s, two factions derived from the original trio toured as The Bachelors, one made up of the Cluskey brothers and the other led by John Stokes, so they never stopped being "bachelors", in artistic terms at least... Thanks for comment!
Love this Video. Grandad doing what he did best. Love and miss you Grandad ❤️
Loved his voice...just incredible. 🥰

This was a popular song back in the 60s, sung by a number of singers. A good old fashion classic.
Wow, this is the first time I've ever heard of this group or heard them sing. And l'm in my 60's. I'm glad they popped up on my YT thread.
I don't remember ever hearing this version. Beautiful!
Truly a nice love song

Their cover of The sound of silence is still one of the best covers of that song!
@@garyvideocollection9222 Theirs is my favorite version in fact!
Clean cut, great vocalists in harmony, one of best groups on the 60s
Awesome! I like their version of Marie
❤they they were very talented young men. Loved listening to them both in the early 60's and now.
Superb.

Beautiful song... nice harmonies.
Happy Saturday... thank you for sharing! 💖
Yes, it's funny, I hadn't realized that... Just when most lyrics take spring as the season of passions...
@edufau815 I agree... they left out one of my most favorite months. 😄

Gary Lewis had one too when he and the Playboys appeared on Ed Sullivan and lipsynched "She's Just My Style" and "Sure Gonna Miss Her."
@@cinerama88 Exactly correct. I made a comment about that one and forgot that I did~!...Thanks for reminding me. Take care.
Miss those years. This is what shaped our lives. Now, the music is foul language, suggestive phrases, and not suitable for little one's ears .👂
I've never heard of The Bachelors before, but nice harmonies.
This song comes from a spanish hit call " CUANDO CALIENTA EL SOL " FROM A BRAZILIAN GROUP CALL " LOS HERMANOS RIGUAL "

Interesting, I never heared of the group. But the name of the group stood out to me. Did they leave once they got married?😅
