Crazy Teacher Nick...my teacher brought your channel to my attention a couple weeks ago and I have to say I love the content that you release. It helps me so much when I'm studying.
Hi Foxyfoxfilme - in the exam no wordcount is given. It is not the wordcount that matters. Assessment objective 4 asks you to show your understanding of Lingustics and the theories. I would worry less about the wordcount and rather show off your ability. I have always told students to aim for 900 words per question. But remember that quality trumps quantity. Show the examiner what you know. Check out Paul's Channel www.youtube.com/@paulheselton230
if anyone sees this please reply, What’s one main way I can get the most amount of points throughout the entire paper 2 like is there anything in specific that these graders look at and automatically give points for. This is a must past test 🙏
Excuse me Mr Nick, I recently wrote english paper 1 2024 october/november and we were asked to write a diary, however i made the grave mistake of forgetting to include my sign off at the end of the diary using my name, and the diary i wrote was relatively decent. I wanted to know how many marks will be deducted from me from the 10 marks that were offered.
@@nali5696 I feel like if the examiner liked your diary entry overall, they will overlook this little mistake cause it's not that much of a deal(not that I'm saying it's okay that you didn't sign off) , so don't kill yourself over it!😂
Teacher nick, in the marking it's stated that sticking to the word limit is looked at when deciding your A02 mark out of 25 for extended writing. Is it still a bad idea to exceed the word limit?
Hi Nick. Fellow teacher here. Feeling a bit low due to some really bad results this session. Could we possibly get in contact via email for some tips and tricks? I've been teaching Cambridge 9093 for 6 years now, but this has been the worst result ever.

are you ever going to do videos on the AL part of English language? if so, can you touch on language change and English as a global language.

@@nali5696😂I don't think it's a big deal but it is a a feature of most diaries where you're like "talk later" and stuff
