I pray ALL young girls read this: 1) NEVER WALK ANYWHERE ALONE 2) DO NOT TAKE A RIDE FROM NO ONE, COP OR NOT, 3) STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS, EVEN WEED....4) DONT LIE TO YOUR PARENTS ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE , AND PARENTS STOP LETTING YOUR CHILDREN JUST GO ANY DAMN WHERE....SAY NO, WE ARE NOT THEIR FRIENDS...WE ARE PARENTS....creeps are everywhere. ALL CHILDREN SHOULD BE IN THE HOUSE BEFORE DARK....you don't have to like me, you will be safe though. Amen.

Almost getting in cans with strange men at the grocery store that pull over & offer me a ride. I hate to think if what all could have happened to me. God bless you 🙏 ❤️

@@NallisnHer mom didn’t “allow” her to walk home alone. Her daughter lied about where she was and the daughter told her mother she was already walking home. The mother called her back to tell her she was coming to pick her up but she was unable to reach her again.
These young women have been so brave during the court hearings!
Nothing brave about this, none of these girls when looking for her that night, they didn't see or know anything that happened.
They held it together in court. You could see the hurt on her boyfriend’s face. I do believe her best friend Esmeralda did look for her because she had lied to her mom about her location. They thought she had been in an accident. They went to her last location but didn’t see anything.

I had a friend who was murdered at 16. I just turned 61 and that mofo that murdered her got away with it and is still alive. This family is lucky to have the person that murdered their loved one held respondible. My friend never got that. RIP Carol I still think of you all these years later. I'm so sorry you never got the justice you deserved.

This is so sad. These young people really cared or loved her to be put Thur this. What wonderful people she had in her life. I hope her family and friends get justice to the fullest. Rest in peace baby girl.
Mommy did not care for some of Susanna‘s friends, but I am sure she are very proud of them. She should be happy that those are her friends. They are better friends than some adults that are supposed to be a friend. God bless them all Susanna🙏🏽😢💔 sleep in heaven.

For anyone questioning Susana’s mother. I am bilingual. I saw Susana’s mother testifying. The attorney had asked if she had tried to reach out to her daughter the night she disappeared. While her mother was speaking, the translator started speaking but did not translate the end of the sentence when her mother stated that she had called Susana in order to go pick her up.
All these young people have done a phenomenol job giving testimony, even the defendant's prior GF did a good job giving testimony.
All her friends are so well spoken and clear in their testimony. So many young people can not put proper sentences together and make horrible witnesses. I am sorry for the loss of your freind. Keep her memory alive.

The dark night didn’t kill this girl, this monster did. Don’t blame the mom and she’s the one that had this child and is beating herself up every single day. We as parents must make decisions. They lived in a pretty safe area where kids were mischievous just like we were as kids. I didn’t smoke weed and don’t smoke now but I was a devious kid for the longest.
It’s a rare teen that NEVER lied to a parent in order to hang out w/a friend they didn’t like.
Which is why as PARENTS we need to have these certain conversations that if I do this, this could possibly happen. If I a young woman walks in the dark alone that there could be a man that has predator instincts and I could possibly be attacked. If I'm a woman and i go to a night club I could be drugged by a perp do I need to keep going?
We adults "parents" need to hold ourselves more accountable because like you said we were teens once and have probably been in scary situations. So yes we need to hold ourselves accountable, because we know what can happen

In the beginning when they first were looking for her no one but her friends, their parents and her mother was looking for her

Why are they questioning a child about the technology of the app instead of getting a specialist opinion about the diagnostics of the app that she clearly doesn’t have the experience to give testimony beyond her use of the app.
Well this kid seems more pro-active and technologically aware than the police appeared to be.
Because she is young and comes from that generation. These young people are experts at technology by default.

How is it that the friends had her location of 360 and nobody gave that info. To the cops and why didn't the mom have that app? She was looking for her daughter for 7 months. That is horrible.😢
The cops did NOT care, they did nothing when she was reported missing.

My heart breaks for the family, friends, and officers involved in this case. Sometimes, I wish we could bypass the system and render judgment accordingly. The death penalty would be too good for the man accused. The Hispanic inmates will deal with him I'm sure.
Thank God for the smart young people who acted quickly to build this timeline. Monster thought Susanna was disposable. No, you will be disposed of. Life with no parole.

He lived in the apartment complex where Susana was visiting. There is no way he is going to convince a jury that he didn't know Susana was there and followed her on her walk home. How did he know to contact her best friend Esmeralda???

He could’ve called it in. He could’ve made sure her family got her back.
Because of the comments he made to his prior cellie... her body was found naked, not clothes or shreds of clothes anywhere near or around the body.
