Tanfield Railway North Pole Express 11.12.2022 Christmas Special

★ Hello guys! Welcome to Spike's Steam. Today's video is at Tanfield Railway for The North Pole Express train. I am very pleased to have picked this day (11.12.2022) to film this video as there was plenty of snow on the ground for the Christmas atmosphere.
In this video we see 49 National Coal Board doing the morning part of the timetable and Horden doing the afternoon part of the timetable.
This is my last video before Christmas so I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a great Christmas Day! I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas Specials this year.

I have done loads of research into this and I can't see that I am doing anything wrong putting my footage on since I am not getting paid for this and doing it as a hobby.

Cheers Cameron. The one at 26:02 is on a public footpath between Causey Arch and East Tanfield and 27:35 is a open field accessed by the same public footpath I’m on at the 26:02 location

Much waste of coal, water and effort to keep the safety valves blowing. Same thing the day I visited (but my grand-daughter enjoyed the day, especially meeting Santa!).
