This special video is a departure from our usual refitting of our narrowboat.
We were asked to help with the facelift of the "Café Afloat", a local landmark in Worcester. It's a very popular venue and a hub for visitors, walkers and boaties as well and we were given access to document the whole process from conception to completion.

Hi Merulious,
Thanks for watching and for your seal of approval, I was very happy to help my friend and the café is super busy. Now other people are asking for help with their plans and marketing, so I am both flattered and flat out and we've still got much to do if we are to leave the marina on time to start cruising.
Regards,
Martin
Hi Donna and Martin, very interesting to watch. THe boat looks fantastic.
Keith
Hi Keith,
Something a little bit different eh!
Martin
Beautiful job done love the colors.
Thanks Seth, Dave wanted battleship grey and we softened it with a drop of wine red eh!
Anyway everybody visiting likes it too.
Martin
good to see trades making it look so easy (which it's not that's for sure) nice job guys 👍
Hey Fellow Nomad,
Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed everyones efforts.
Martin
Looks great. Ours is a light mint green. New subscriber here. Helen & Tony
Hi Helen, Hi Tony,
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, things are mad busy at the moment, not just with the boat fit out but other people wanting help with business plans and marketing, I suppose I should be flattered but were already flat out trying to finish the boat and start cruising.
Thanks for your seal of approval and welcome aboard, we've watched and enjoyed a couple of your vlogs and think we are on a similar life path so hopefully we can meet up once we start moving eh! Till then have fun and make people smile.
Regards,
Martin, Donna and Dylan

Thanks mate, it has kept me busy for ages, Dave is getting loads of nice comments and clearly you like it so it's all been worth it eh!
Send my regards to all x
Looks good, love colour scheme and the artwork looks really good. Well done everyone
Thanks Jon, it's been a hectic few weeks but now we can get on with our boat and hopefully put an update out soon.
Hope you're well.
Martin
It is possible to cruise having a boat wrapped, i had my boat wrapped three years ago, and have cruised ever since and it still serviceable and looking good.
Hi Colin,
That's interesting... we are going to paint ours as soon as the temps starts to warm up, do you get any trouble with tree rubs?
Martin
No more than on an expensive paint job, but since it was less than a fifth of the quoted price of having it painted and done in a day it not so much of an issue, whereas if I had paid for it to be painted I would be crying if it got scraped, you can always patch the wrap!
Hi Donna Martin Dylan, well you have been ask to do something, how did you get involved in this project,I have never seen a boat wrapped most interesting I would imagine it quit expensive the guy who is doing it has several things in is way ,like you say Martin it’s not the best weather to do wrapping, wear was this done what Marina ,,Martin did you say about having your boat wrapped? Is it expensive to haha boat wrapped? Well till next time take care keep safe, John 🥂🥰👍🥀🌟⭐️🙌🥃🥃🌼🌼🌻💥💥🥶🥶
Hi John,
Hope you're well my my friend, I have a bit of previous with this kind of thing and Dave knew about that so he asked me could I help him. He's a great friend so it was my pleasure to jump in.
Donna and I are happy to paint our boat ourselves but now that we have met Paul, we may well ask him to print our new name and artwork for the boat before we set sail.
Catch up soon mate.
Martin
You buy a boat and don't cruise?
That seems stupid to me. I mean, what's the point?
