What do you mean by local currency default, please don't use the words which a common even an educated person can not understand
He is right when he uses the term local currency default. When you have debt in USD, you cannot print USD to settle your debt.
In local currency, the govt has option to print more money but that will increase inflation massively. Now the situation is that they are unable to settle Local Currency debt which is extremely alarming.
