Moon in the first house show someone whose emotional balance comes from physical activity and being physically fit. These people are well balanced and their life revolves around giving emotional support to people and their have a well mind balanced spouse. Since moon in astrology represents mother, the native's mother becomes the engine and source of drive in their life. Mother is the motivator for these natives and the relationship is very well balanced for such folks.

Aquarius moon with Rahu in the 1st house here! The thing about the mother being a negative driving force really resonated with me. My moon is in cancer first house (Gemini rising), and i have such a youthful face people still mistake me for 14-15 and I'm 23. I have gamine features too, which is probably the Gemini talking. I take lots of pride in looking much younger than my age, and I plan to retain this throughout my life haha

I feel like I am so sensitive but my birthchart didn't reflect that (Leo sun, libra moon and rising, Gemini Venus..) but now everything makes sense! I also have a pretty youthful and symmetrical face (and body) :) thank you!
I think people with first house moon tend to be so balanced because they are soo sensitive to every little "bad" thing for their health.. So if I drink a little bit oft alcohol, i feel even worse later or if I don't sleep 8-9 hours, I feel so Bad immediately.. If I eat someting wrong and my diagestion is weird, I just don't eat none or less of that... I need to be like that or I could not function.
and that, my friend, is very inconvenient, right? lol it's exhausting.
I have moon in libra in the first also :) One thing i noticed is since libra is relationships and other people you tend to be emotionally attached(moon) to how other people(libra) perceive you or the affect you have on them(1st house) so you want to make everyone happy and like you. That might be some of the sensitivity you're talking about.
Sleep is important to me, if I didn't get 8 - 9 hours per day I know I will ending up that day in a worst mood ever. Or when my family begin to shout at the last phase of my sleep, it ruins my day.

And I don't know about you, but when I find a good song, it becomes a fuel, an addiction and it makes me feel really good for many, many days, until the effect wears off.
I don't like to dine out. The impressions of the day or the place can greatly affect my digestion. I never liked to eat at school. 2017 was the year I was most invited to dine out, and it was the year I had the most ups and downs in my health.

I'm a libra and I have Rahu in Cancer- with moon debilitated in Scorpio; I can handle all the thinking, and all the probing of my moon- thanks to Rahu I imagine, but I also have moon in house 1 (with Aquarius rising- Saturn exalted in libra) and moon in 6!! I think it helps with my counseling and healing, but what about mental instability? Does Rahu help to stabilize? Or should I be conscious of bi-polar and depressive tendencies? my mother is very good, however, she is not a good mother to me; there seems to be a reversal in roles. I become her mother. 🤣 only when i become her mother, our relationship can work. i never understood that. so my relationship with her is terrible until i have to keep reminding myself that she is my daughter.
It is so sad. I wish I known this vedic astrology earliest in life, it would have safe me alot of sufferings.

I was watching this video for someone else’s moon in ascendant but when you mentioned - if moon is lord of 6th and it’s in ascendant then the person can suffer from lack of sleep … I paused it right there because i have always been looking for the reason why I suffer from insomnia in astrology and the lord of my 6th house is 4° away from my moon - even though it’s not in my ascendant, it’s actually in my 3rd house but still I feel like there must be a connection there. Also I have suffered from depression and anxiety.
Speaking of the mother thing... my son has moon in the first house, and his moon is actually on the exact same degree as my moon in 28° of Libra (western astrology) hopefully that's a good thing.

I have been enjoying your videos. I have mostly studied western astrology, but it seems to me that Vedic has many similarities with Western Astrology.
All I know is it’s very difficult being married to these ppl. They take everything personally which holds others back as well as their constant mood swings, throwing reason and rationale out the window in order to get involved with drama...if they don’t create enough on their own, they’ll focus all their attention on someone whose got major issues.
my leo moon is right in between the 12th and 1rst house of a leo ascendent. so my mum kinda takes care of me, she cooks and she cleans, but i always feel so torn towards her because we're both isolated and eccentric and selfish people. my sun is in gemini and hers in leo, and her moon is in gemini.. So she always talks sooooo much and i'm also a talker as a gemini and i really really dislike that i'm so full of leo.

Somebody skilled enough around here to answer my question? At some point Kapiel mentioned that this moon in scorpio or gemini fluctuate the mind in a 'up and down' motion. What does he mean by up and down? Happy/Depressed? Happy/More happy? I do know what for example a moon in gemini means and that thoughts are all over the place , creating new ideas and sharing. But what goes down over here? The ideas come up and down? The emotions? How do I make the connection between these two?

Oh yeah...very interesting analysis on the moon in asc..I've both my father and bro with this placement where's my father is a Libran asc(...and he's really balanced man even in tough situations that too with moon in libra) n my bro is a gem asc(for whom as u said mother cud influence'em either way which in both ways r true acc to him more so in a neg. way n my bro is very touchy to other's words n also he misunderstood/misconceptualised certain imp. things like marr, relations,family in life).
