I find it weird that people rip on Brad Delson for playing overly simplistic guitar riffs. I don't see what else he could play that would fit Linkin Park's music any better.
Anyone who still thinks this is "edgy garbage for teens" should watch this video. Numb is the Smells Like Teen Spirit of the 2000's.
I freaking love this series so much.
The one thing I usually like about Linkin Park that Numb doesn't display much of is Mike Shinoda's and Chester Bennington's ability to interchange their vocal styles. Very few vocalists are actually able to pull off that. Forgotten is a good example of this with their intro and bridge.
goosebumps when Chester's vocals come up.
Someone asked you why you like Linkin Park?! I've honestly never heard anyone say they DON'T like Linkin Park.
What makes Rick Beato great? Let the fans decide.
R.I.P Chester!
Linkin park is amazing. Hybrid theory changed everything.
I can’t say enough how much this song helped get through my teen years. My all time favourite Linkin Park song. Great breakdown.
At around
Rick is incredible. He can make an acoustic guitar appear our of thin air.
One of the reasons why I love Linkin Park is how the layers in their songs are so well put together.....
Nirvana, Pearl Jam and now Linkin Park, awesome 👏
Linkin Park is phenomenal live. I saw them with incubus back in 2012 best concert I've ever been too. Chesters voice sent chills through my spine that night. So sad he's gone RIP
Such charismatic personality talking about real music played by real musicians. Rock on Rick!
I’m surprised he never talked more about Joe Hahn and Mike’s production/keyboard and turntable/synth parts, would love another LP song in the future. Miss you Chester. 🖤
Hearing Chester's isolated voice took me immediately back to the Kroger I worked st when my wonderful ex texted me right when I clocked in and said he died. Couldnt be bothered to just wait and tell me. Dude I was so tore up inside I told my manager that my grandfather passed away so he would let me go. That was easily the saddest and longest car ride home ever. What should have taken mayhe 10 minutes felt like hours while I was blasting the meteora album all the way home that was a sad day for me. 26 year old young adult at the time and I had an emotional breakdown over someone I didnt even know.
Chester was so good, so sad that we lost him. Great job with this series, it's been really good!
It’s haunting but beautiful to hear just Chester’s vocals. He truly had such a unique voice and will always be remembered and missed
