- Nykona Sharrowkyn almost kills Fulgrim, primarch of the Emperor's Children Space Marine legion during the Horus Heresy in the Warhammer 40K setting.
In the Warhammer 40K Horus Heresy book: Angel Exterminatus, Nykona Sharrowkyn almost kills Fulgrim, which honestly, is my favourite part.
The same dude also curbstomped Lucius

“Raven Guard does ‘x’ with nothing but ‘y’ and balls of adamantium” is honestly such a fitting summary of our favorite stealthy spess merins
it's honestly funny how few times they get mentioned, then whenever they do it's like: "3 Ravenguard marines eleminated an entire genestealer cult with nothing but conbat knives and bleach" but screw them, stealth is cringe.
The funniest thing about this guy is he almost died on Isstvan, he was wounded and dragged aboard a Thunderhawk by an Iron Hand. And he was the only Raven Guard on the Sisypheum.

If I remember it correctly, Fulgrim knew about him and the assasination attempt. He did let it happen to get Perturabo's help
I don't think it is the case. It is not in Fulgrims nature to admit that he was not in control. So he most likely improvised, fed to Perturabo a lie that he was almost dead and fed to his marines another one that he totally did see bullet coming.

@@Skiritai true. But he knew he needed perturabo to solve the labyrinth. And the only way (he could think of) of was a 'failed assination' attempt. And he was in control the whole time. He knew of the assasin, he did not get killed and got the help he wanted. So he was in control and his plan worked as intended

That Raven Guard armour with the feather design is one of the sexiest space marine armours I have ever seen.
Honestly the fact he did that AND escaped is honestly extremely impressive feat of stealth even for a son of corax

@@tea-sus8722 The last thing know of him is that he went into stasis with the genestock of all the primarchs, which is what cawl needed/used to make Primaris Marines, so he has to have found him at some point
He woke up and simply decided to chose violence

I forget was he ever confirmed dead last I heard about his character was that he was in stasis protecting something but I could be wrong
He had with him a mcguffin which was later used to create Primaris marines. What happened to my raven boi is unknown.

Sharrowkyn was special.. he had the "invisibility perk" of his father, and kills Lucius a top 5 astartes duellist all time.
Lucius is shite and needs a literal self revive hax to "win" I wouldn't put him anywhere near the top 5

@@malekbaraka3458 That's only because in 30k books he never sparred raldoron, corswain, kharn or sharrowkyn. I remember him being on par with a swordsman from the thousand sons too but i cant remember what book that's from

506 meters to be precise, those 200 yards wouldn't cover too much of the Thaliakron. Both Sharrowkyn and Wayland had to skedaddle like no tomorrow after Fulgrim got domed and with 2 traitor legions attending the show they needed a good headstart

While he was ballsy, primarch reaction times are incomprehensibly fast compared to even astartes, he 100% saw that needle was coming and let it hit him because he knew he'd survive. he literally whooped his entire consulate's asses during the reflection crack'd, and astartes can dodge bolt rounds just fine,
fulgrim 100% knew it was coming, he just wanted to use peter turbo to help him.

Im on this book right now. Honestly one of the better books in the series so far in my opinion.

I wish the Raven Guard had named characters like him in 40k. They feel pretty neglected compared to say Dark Angels or Ultramarines or Blood Angels.

He didnt almost kill fulgrim, fulgrim let him cause he knew he'd survive it. Not only is fulgrim a primarch with exceptional regeneration abilities even for a primarch but he also was possessed by a daemon at that moment. The bullet was not a threat
I don’t remember any evidence of him knowing about the attempt beforehand
id be the WORST astartes, i put to much faith in that people can be redeemed, id be killed my own brothers at istvaan. but knowing that id still be me never stopping trying to give people the benefit of the doubt they can change.
