Grandstream GXP2130: Call Forwarding

    This video demonstrates how to enable and disable the Call Forwarding feature on a Grandstream GXP2130 phone. Call forwarding allows you to automatically transfer any calls to your phone to another internal extension or external number.     is it possible to have forwarding set up just for one contact or group in the phonebook?

      Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, you cannot set up call forwarding for a single contact.
      However, there is another way to accomplish the same task for GoTo Connect customers. That is done by setting up a call filter. The system can identify the contact and route them to a customized location.

    Hi, I'm using a GS IP-PBX UCM6202. Question concerning call forward:
    When in a call, how can I transfer my current call towards another extension?

      That is an excellent question. That particular model of phone is not currently supported by Jive, and so I'm not sure of the correct answer. I would highly recommend directly contacting Grandstream with that question.

    Hi i am using Grandstream GX 1625. I wish to disable the softkey in the display to Forward incoming calls. Is it possible?

    Hey, cool video! Does anyone know to change the amount of rings before calls are forwarded to another extension?

      Thanks for your question! That setting can be set up in the process known as Find Me Follow Me. Specifically, you'll want to change the Ring Time setting to determine how long before a call is forwarded to another extension.

    I'm using the GXP2130. I followed the instructions in the video, and after I put the forwarding number in, the phone says "the call cannot be completed as dialed." What can I do to fix this so I can forward my calls?

      Chloe, thanks for your question. There could be one of a few different things going on with your phone that is keeping it from being able to use call forwarding. I would highly recommend contacting our Support team so that they can help identify the problem. They can be reached at (877) 548-3003.
      In the meantime, the desktop or mobile versions of GoToConnect can be used to forward your calls.

      Thanks for your question! For Jive Customers, there is no additional charge for forwarding the calls to your mobile.

      I have grandstream 1620, I use this for voip, I live in Turkey and have english number but I did key in number to be forwarded to (turkey mobile) but trying to call it was unsuccessful. do i need to sign up for something to get this done?

      Since you are forwarding from an English number to a Turkish one, there may be an extra step required due to international dialing rules. I would recommend calling your VoIP provider. If it is Jive, our number is 877-548-3003.
