Considering they’re fully sentient, Pokeballs don’t seem to force them to obey AT ALL, some of them seem entirely capable of leveling cities, don’t seem to be that harmed even after taking bolts of lightning to the face, can regenerate near instantly, and they go out of their way to challenge trainers, each other, and seem to have some grasp of the rules of chivalry, I don’t actually think so. The terrifying aspect of the Pokémon universe is why that isn’t the case. Because the only explanation is that Pokémon are Eldritch manifestations of human thoughts emotions concepts and wishes made reality by the horrifying omnipotent monstrosities waiting at the boundaries of their reality they have the gall to call UNOWN.
Bryce Plummer I mean, you can hold unto that delusion all you want, but when you’re ready to enter the next level of the meme, you’ll realize it’s actually Cthulhu for kids.
Bryce Plummer XD You’re an odd duck. Which is it? Are you trying to misconstrue the content of the universe to make it dark and funny or are you trying to literally interpret the lore as intended...? Jokes aside, the UNOWN and their habit of granting the wishes of any human they encounter is lore accurate, and Pokémon ARE fully sentient, so dog fighting isn’t applicable. It’s more like fantasy monster Free Style Martial arts, if we are dispensing with dark humor and interpreting the literal lore as intended.
This makes the Uruk'hai seem sympathetic. They don't wanna fight, they're cognizant of the fact that Sauron is just using them as cannon fodder, they don't even sound all that loyal to him. It sounds like they'd rather just be vibin' back home, relaxing and eating cheesy doodles.

The Dwarves are my favorite, but them Uruk-hai were nothing to sneeze at. Hell, even Aragorn had a hard time fighting them
I treat my orc army in shadow of Mordor fairly if they fight for me don’t try to kill me I go and save them if the get captured or help them on their hunts treat them like family
Flat Man Orcs really are amazing creatures. You can learn all about their ways in a month, and after 100 years, they will still suprise you.
I dunno man acording to Tolkien they are a twisted and unnatural race and in his source material they are evil as only mythological creatures can be.
@@legchairhistorian5496 Yeah, but we arent talking about Tolkiens magnum opus are we? We are talking about the animated adaptation of Return of the King. And since it is an adaptations, things are obviously changed. Like the morality of the orcs, making them a little more gray.
Brought to you straight from the soundtrack of my childhood . SO GLAD they FINALLY listened to me and made a big budget movie version of this , I only said it for twenty years ..... NOW lets see a big budget Elric of Melnibone .
I’d die laughing if some rookies started singing this during their drills in boot camp 🤣 🤣
When the draft comes you'll have whole batches full of em😂
I watched this movie years ago and this was the only thing I remembered
They did say "We don't want to go to war today", so maybe they just meant they'd rather wait until tomorrow. There might've been a big epic card game tournament going on and now they're all going to miss it.
I occasionally love singing this at work. "We don't want to go to work today, but the lord of the lash says, "nay, nay, nay.'
These orcs are so endearing. Little gray frog dudes who don't wanna work.
Wow, this is actually a pretty good and catchy song...
Videos like this were the soul of youtube back in the day. If you liked something, something that's part of you, a meme, a scene, you just shared. Now it's a heap of fake ai stuff, business and copyright problems. Well, that just got sad all of a sudden for no reason.
🤓
I played this song to my mother and joked that it described pretty well her how she bossed me and dad around in the house.
... she looked far too pleased by my comment to my liking.

I’ve had this darn stuck in my head since yesterday 😭😂😂

Listen to it one more time
😂
"What have we here? Two _deserters?!_ UP WITH YA! GET IN LINE!"
"We're in luck! He thinks we're orcs!"
"Luck!? Good sir, we'll be marching with a whole blinking army back to Cirith Ungol where we started from!"

I want to satay in my desk all day, but the lord of the call center say nay nay nay 🎶
What Pokémon’s lives are actually like
Considering they’re fully sentient, Pokeballs don’t seem to force them to obey AT ALL, some of them seem entirely capable of leveling cities, don’t seem to be that harmed even after taking bolts of lightning to the face, can regenerate near instantly, and they go out of their way to challenge trainers, each other, and seem to have some grasp of the rules of chivalry, I don’t actually think so.
@Bryce Plummer Not at all...? I'm taking it at face value? XD
What exactly is it you think I'm over analyzing...?
"my flesh knows no pain
only max potion"
I wouldn't mind having a drink with these pals.
being an old grunt in the Army I can so relate to this song what a great cadence
Who would have thought orcs had so nice voices.
It took a lot of work, but it was totally worth it.
This makes the Uruk'hai seem sympathetic. They don't wanna fight, they're cognizant of the fact that Sauron is just using them as cannon fodder, they don't even sound all that loyal to him. It sounds like they'd rather just be vibin' back home, relaxing and eating cheesy doodles.
yeah. poor things
Relevant for anyone who's ever worked in a call centre
Bruh, how's a desk job that bad.

Funkiest Tune In LOR!
IDK, the dishwashing song in Unexpected Journey is pretty great
feel like they are singing this in subtle protest of their treatment
+glorb it has been a while since I posted that comment, however knowing myself I was being sarcastic
Gee I wonder if that was sarcasm
I wonder if they composted it themselves or if Sauron teached them the song

I prefer the chorus
Its still funny for me. That this song motivates me at work ^^ It really does a great job.
This must be what the essential workers are going through
With not much space or many breaks. I dont doubt it
Preach. This should've been my theme song when I was multi apping and driving my Jeep into the ground with its loud leaking exhaust and busted wiper blade motor so I couldn't see shit in the rain.
God, this brought back memories. The animated Hobbit was one of my favourite movies as a kid.
This might be the theme song of all conscript armies.
As a person who done their service as conscript.. Naah, then again, I was a trucker so I had cozy service (after boot camp)
@@Gebunator I mean of course, if you don't fight for your life it doesn't apply as much.
Very few people in the south realize that the southern army was a conscripted army, the average non black southerner couldn't give two shits about the slavery issue or the union staying together or breaking apart.
@@chinabluewho I don't really believe that. One of the arguments against freeing the slaves was that they would tank the economy as they took white people jobs.
@@DanJuega There was almost no economy to tank in the south as it was an agricultural landscape with few 'jobs' that you could apply for, the only people who were for slavery in the south were the 1% of the population that actually owned large plantations who didn't want to pay daily wages for hired help, pretty much the same as today with large businesses wanting robotics and AI for the labor force.
If not for the cotton gin the south most likely would have ended slavery without a war but the large plantation business owners were the ones funneling money into the politicians pockets.
Back then people didn't fear losing their jobs in the south to blacks as they mostly worked on family farms and family run businesses.
I like to imagine the Skaven from Warhammer Fantasy singing this. It suits them even better than it does Tolkien's Orcs.
Yeah or if you still want to put it into orky levels, they could be the goblins in an orc army. Also kicked to war or, in 40k, to clear minefields.
Warhammer 40k Orcs Sleep,Eat,Drink and breathe war lol
At least the orks in Warhammer enjoy being in war and dying for their army with honor
I need to put this on repeat while I am out.
These guys are positive about life. Where there’s a whip there’s a way!!!!
The Lord of the Lash became an music artist when the war ended. He sang "Watch me whip. Watch me 'nay nay'"
Nice!! 😆
When a song in a corny animated kids' movie better captured the Orc's thoughts on the war than an 11-hour live-action epic.
Is there a russian translation?... just askin'
Discovered this via Instagram. Now I am kinda addicted 😂😂
Now this is motivation
Where there's a whip there's a way.
Groovy baby, yeah! 🕺🎶
can we have this song in shadow of war please?
Ditto. We need this in the new game.
I'm showing this to my band director and we are going to sing this while we march lmfao
The bass on VHS hits harder than a 808
Thanks for introducing me to this Zach and Chris
'Sir, the soldiers are singing that they don't want to go to war while marching and the whip is only encouraging them!'
'Are they marching though?'
'... Yes?'
'Then who cares?!'
Yes, Comrade Defence Minister.
I actually like these Orcs. They're a lot easier to relate to than the bloodthirsty psycho Orcs ("meat's back on the menu, boys!") in Jackson's trilogy.
There was different orc subspecies, in the books there are farmer orcs that must been less violent
@@biphronte and where exactly is the mention of farmer orcs in the books? Read it many times, never seen even a hint on farmer orcs.
