That S2k was stunning! For $22k, yeah, I'd bite. Of all the new cars I got to drive for PDIs when I worked for a Honda dealership, the S2k was by and far my favorite! Such a pleasure to drive, and adding a supercharger to an already lightweight, RWD vehicle, is music to my ears!

That s2k is the best deal I've ever seen. High mileage ones go for 20 grand so for a supercharger, and 65,000 for 22 grand Is truly insane

Saleen did take Cobras and make them into the Saleen package, however it was pretty rare, so I highly doubt the one shown in the video was one of them, but yes, there was a few Cobra Saleens.
This one is a cobra saleen, I searched it up and found it on marketplace still (just switched my location to Monroe Georgia) he claims on the build/assembly list that it’s a “03 Cobra Terminator” but with the custom cobra R hood, Saleen body components seamless bond to body, custom wide body, t56, and alot of other crap

@@VDM32 What he means is that Saleen made zero Cobra conversions of the 2002 model year, not that the Cobra did not exist. Google is your friend, you can buy a 1997 Saleen Cobra if you want, just not an 02.

@@JonHop1the only chassis as far as I know that the only thing you need to modify on the chassis is notch the rear subframe on the integra. The rest I think you have to change fuel cells and shit
Definitely is, awd is 7 grand, fuel system is probably 2 grand, motor is 13 grand, trans is another 1500, suspension is 2 grand. Wheel and tire about 1500, and nitrous another grand. And the chassis it’s self at the clean in another 5-6 grand. So definitely up there in price

It's because that 95 Civic 95 for some reason the 95 Civics are the most desirable year out and with that all-wheel drive conversion I could see it going for 35 but 45 is definitely a little steep just because at the end of the day it is still a Honda
yet people paying $60,000 for the new Type R and Type S that are dogcrap in comparison... Go figure.. K20c1 is a crap engine. Thing isnt even reliable at 400whp... Direct injection, small intake ports, and built in exhaust ports are all just terrible for doing anything fun.

22 for that s2k is actually a decent deal for the miles. No wonder it sold. S2k’s have been slowly increasing in value. Likely due to it getting to that age point like our late 80’s-early90’s Jdm cars have appreciated
The best 4.6 mustang engines are out of the Lincoln Mark VIIIs, those blocks are Teksid (forged) blocks meanwhile the cobra mustangs have a WAC (cast) block. The more you know
Not to bite your Steeze my guy but those blocks are garbage. If your gonna make power the 2 valve is abysmal. The cobra 4 valve (with forged internals) has double the life capacity on any kind of real power 🥴🥴 “the more you know”
@@MughHungusWhat the mark viii are 4 valve aluminum blocks. The only difference is on the 93-95 there’s a different bolt pattern compared to the 95-98 models. The driveshafts out the mark viii is lighter than the cobra. There’s a reason Shelby took that engine out of the mark 8. Don’t talk out your ass on topics you know nothing of

I'll race any all motor s2k in my 4th gen miata all day. "miata owners can't keep up". I have a built head 4th gen I eat up RT and coyotes all day on E85. Yes it's a built head with porting but my 182(hub dyno) whp will surprise you.

My buddy had a white Saleen mustang in the 1994-1998 body style. It had the double decker saleen wing, it was an s351 i think, it was kind of cool
On that mustang, I wouldnt buy it since it’s a convertible, but if I were to buy it, I would buy it for 25k-30k and tell him to remove the audio and cobra badges, because I’d have to remove the Lamborghini doors and redue the interior

S2k prices are nothing compared to the DC area. An S2K with like 80-120k miles goes for 32k to 36k!

The thing with that Saleen is that it has a Terminator Cobra swap, saleen did convert Cobras, but this one is a 2002, before the Cobra was built, so to me the Shelby badging makes sense as it has the motor, but it's also way too much badging, keep the fender badges and remove the others
That S2k is gorgeous I would love to get one the prices just a little out of my range right now honestly for as much work as this car has for 22,000 that's a good deal

I have a 1991 Toyota MR2 non-turbo. It's not advertised for sale at all but I have had many people asking about it and asking if I'd sell it. Without fail, I say 10k. and every time someone tries haggling me to go lower. mind you, she's not in the best condition, gutted except door cards, center console and dash, 6 pt. welded in roll cage, ksport suspension, sport maxx 17" wheels. But I won't sell my car for less than I want when I'm not advertising my vehicle for sale.

Saleen typically takes the 2 valves. But they have done a few cobra to saleen. In 98 and 2003 they did. But literally only a hand full. Check out the 03. It is a monster and probably the best looking saleen ever made. In my opinion anyway.

Like Roush, Saleen modifies base vehicles so all those cobra badges on the 1st car where fake. From the way it looks, its not a real Saleen. It looks like the dude bought it and installed it all aftermarket. The dead giveaway is the supercharger. Saleen has their own superchatger. Why would you buy a Saleen and change that as well as all the other fake Saleen badges. That new edge owner is a clown.
They did modify about 200 cobras, very rare. Some of their upgrade packages included whipples for more power. You know not what you speak amigo 😅
