Another good vid! Talking of multiple generations, the Asaro family have apparently been involved for 160 years 🤯. On the Mob Archaeologists this week they had official documents from Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily, from 1865, showing an Asaro, who was apparently the great grandfather (or something) of senior Bonanno member Vinny Asaro, as a senior member of the Castellammare Family back then. Given that the Bonanno Family is a direct offshoot of the Castellammare Family, it’s nuts that there is a member today who’s lineage can be traced back to the very beginning of the whole thing 🤯
Good morning Jeff, as usual I have to compliment you on this most recent podcast. I've been backtracking, going back and viewing your previous shows and ofcourse checking off the like button. I'm so confident in the favorable results and outcome of your efforts I automatically check off like within the First Ten (10) seconds of the video because I can count on being very satisfied with your details and unique gift of bringing home the points you choose to highlight. Wishing you greater continued success. Harold.
Good job Jeff! Like that you included the audience in the programming by asking them to suggest the next individual to discuss (in this case 3 individuals)... these shows flow so much better without the distractions of fielding comments... not that those are bad -- there is a time and place for that format too and you do a good job at that too, even with the pushback comments... 👏👏👏
Good vid Jeff good to hear people of importance in cosa nostra that we rarely hear about...ahhh why u making one alite best way to shit em down is not discuss em
Just listened to the Tony Mirra story. Awesome work. I was curious when he got out of the can and sided with Sonny Red. Who was his capo, or was he independent of any particular crew?
Albert Anastasia's son has been doing interviews on TH-cam but it's like the big TH-camrs don't know him. He acted in Superman and boxed George Foreman. Was raised by Costello and Lansky. You should do this interview while he's still alive, he's 95. His name is Jack O'Halloran 🙏🤔💯🙏🙏
Helping the algorithm and not trying to tell you what to cover, but you should profile the Detroit Partnership. Jack Tocco would be a great start. So many others with national LCN significance coming from Detroit. The current boss Jackie Giacalone also a worthy cover. Both mentioned are legacy members
@The Sitdown : A Crime History Podcast I get that, views paybthe bills. But you could tie in the Partnership to NYC in a lotta ways. Jack Tocco married a Profaci...Detroit was at applachin. Tony Pro had a relative running shit in Saginaw, Mi...Tony Pro was with the Giacalones with Teamster stuff. So there is ways to weave NYC into the story.
Outstanding Job man. This might be my first comment on a video, seriously. But I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your work. True research and ORIGINAL characters. Respect. Thank you brother.
Hey Jeff, hope all is well with you my friend, I wanted to know if you could possibly do a show on mobster Baby John Delutro (AKA Cannoli king) from Mulberry Street in Manhattan's Little Italy? What year he was straightened out, his rank, etc?
Saw Joe butch at his restaurant and club early 90s on mulberry st he was quite impressive guy and the pics of him do him justice was as good looking and charismatic as gotti but not the attention whore that gotti was a real old school gangster and was as tall as in the pics at least 6,4 or 6,5.
Now as I watch this Costa nostra is more a family thing than the chin disagreeing with sr when he told him he made Jr. Chin son Andrew was knee deep in the biz . Good video
I want to hear and see a very special SPECIAL on Don SALVATORE LUCANIA . Grom child hood. Teenage years . To BOSS. His character. Personality, business acumen
tout à été déjà dit à propos de Lucky Luciano. je préfère en savoir sur ce genre de personne comme BUTCH CORRAO car on apprend réellement des choses sur leur organisation. surtout avec un connaisseur comme Jeff !
@Jay_nicola Neil was an Anastasia loyalist who fell in line on the condition that Carlo wouldn't kill him once he became Boss. Neil's stature overall has been greatly over exaggerated over time because of movies & the remaining survivors of the Gotti regime. Even back when he became Underboss, he wasn't the top Captain. Guys like Ettore Zappi, Joe Gennaro, Joe Colozzo, Giuseppe Traina & Alfred Eppolito were more powerful & had larger crews than Neil. Joe N Gallo was actually the top candidate to take over for Carlo once he got sick & had the support of most of the Captains in the family, but Carlo wanted to keep it like it was in Sicily & empower his family members, which is why he appointed Paul Castellano. Even James "Jimmy Brown" Fallia had more respect than Dellacroce; Aneill just had a following of drug dealers & killers that liked him because he was a street guy, but not really an administrator. Neil never became Boss because he was never Boss material.
I worked for Vinny Corrao and would still be there if I didn't screw up on my own . To anyone who thinks that people who are in this so called mob are stupid and bad people let me tell you something that man is one of the smallest businessman I have ever known and he has his collage education and he would have given me the world if I had just kept my shit together miss you Vin and I owe you more than you know
Thanks for watching. Make sure you hit the like button and subscribe. If you’d like to donate feel free to drop a super thanks! 🎉

From everyone who spoke on Frankie says nuttin but good things about em and is always labeled a stand up guy STR8 gentlemen that man deserved to go
Frank "Frankie Wops" Gagliardi should've been the Boss after Carlo Gambino died.
