@@rpgamers368 serbians celtic origins? I missed somethig somewhere? afaik celtic r1b haplogroup is most predominant in welsh and in serbian genotype it's at MOST about 10%...
They do use bagpipes very often. I highly advise you to look up their live concerts and music videos if you have't already, watch the instruments they use.
@@tarquinbristow I have. But this sounds different. This sounds specifically like the Scottish smallpipes in the key of A. Usually what he plays sounds more like Highland pipes, higher pitch. Key of D.
@@tarquinbristow Not that there's a lot of difference in the fingering. It's the same finger placement for the notes. But it does take a different level of skill as those are bellows blown and highland pipes are mouth blown. Takes a little more coordination to keep the bag inflated with the bellows. I play pipes myself, that's why I'm wondering. It's not the easiest instrument to learn.
I read in an interview with them that Russia has its own version of bagpipes, but through the USSR much of their culture was destroyed. So a lot of Russians don’t know a lot about their own folklore and ancient customs, where the history of their bagpipes would probably be laid out. But I don’t think it inherently has anything to do with Scotland. I’m jealous, I wish I had a set of pipes. 😂
