Agreed, but I'd phrase it - that poor OP, who only thought of the situation as "weird" and hasn't come to terms with how bad that was and the PREDATORY ADULT, I hope that she gets some consequences for that at some point.
I'm a lesbian in my 30s and because of what I do, I spend a lot of time with queer teens. I get that in queer community, it is possible to form bonds that feel close across ages. But I would never kiss or do anything like that with any of them. That's a line that we as adults have to know not to cross and I hate that some adults cross it anyway.

Gay guy, bi guy, trans guy, lesbian, two bi girls, and two straight people -- and one of those straight people gives me massive bi vibes now (though we're not close anymore, so I'm speculating). So yes, we definitely still had those gay friend groups, we just didn't know it yet 💀💀
At 27, there are exactly three people from my Highschool who I am still very close to, or indeed talk to at all... two gay men and a bi (possibly just gay) woman. I went down the "bi now gay later" pipeline myself lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We may not have had explicitly gay friend groups, but we sure did find each other anyway!

She's the most accepting mom, ever since me and my sisters were little. She made sure we all knew that being different in any kind of way, was okay.
