I'm glad you said in this & the Oregon video ... why in the world did they change the way the option worked? I have like 18 years of holding the button to hand off to unlearn. It's so hard!
With the double post concept I have found success with making the slot post shorter by using custom stems. It brings the safety down sometimes and can get your other post open over the top in some situations.
@@TrueJudasGaming yeah, any adjustment seems needed. I've never been a fan of routes so close together, especially if they're the same route. Just makes it easier to defend.
South Florida has a nice package of rpo’s, options, and triple options while keeping the veer n shoot principles. I found that playbook after i was getting frustrated with trying to unlearn the old option mechanics. I really do like Liberty’s playbooks though and I use it to warm up with the option mechanics before playing dynasty/road to cfp. Their spread option playbook scheme is better than Jax states to me who also runs spread option according to the game.
Great breakdown as always, Al. I love how unique most of the playbooks feel in this game. I’m curious, what are you using to capture the footage of this game from the console? Been researching this myself!
@@PlaybookGamer in the road to cfp mode, you have to use each teams playbook. on your site, it looks like very few offensive and defensive playbooks match what I want 🤦🏽♂️😂, thank you tho! great site you have keep it up💪🏽
It’s r1 or l1. You use both. If the play is going to the right r1 pitches to the right side. L1 will pitch to QBs left side runner. If the play goes the other way it’s the opposite

Gun Deuce is an awesome formation. I have been loving it.

If you're looking to check out another fun Pro Style, try Utah!
@@mcmayhem9624 yep, it's a good one.
Used this playbook for Arkansas State and my running back won best running back in the nation and led the nation in rushing year 1
That’s crazy I’m using the same team for my dynasty and was looking at liberty playbook
Some of those Texas routes will turn your rb into an all-purpose specialist!

Had to like and sub as a coastal alum, your chadwell knowledge is 💯💯
I appreciate the kind words and the sub! Chadwell's system is a lot of fun, and EA did a good job replicating it.

@@JuJusCornerr yeah, USF and other Veer N Shoot playbooks should have similar stuff in them.

How do you shovel pass on the shovel pass option play?
@@TylorDibble good question. I'm not sure as I haven't fooled it yet. My guess it's one of the other trigger buttons.
