if your stock intake manifold is low miles you should sell it, a lot of people swap the gen 3 manifold onto the gen 2 coyote, could get a couple hundred bucks back
not 100% sure how it works on the mustang but for the super duty’s if you hold the start button without your foot on the brake it primes the fuel system like i said not sure if it would work that way on the mustangs to help relive the pressure in the fuel system
Nah, you just have to run it with the fuel pump fuse removed like they did until it quits. And even then there will still be gas in the lines, haha. There is a "clear flood mode" where if you hold the gas pedal floored and hit the start button it will crank a certain amount of times with no fuel injection. Useful for compression test or priming the oiling system if the car has sat a while.
This is gonna be pretty sweet, not many people have done this so I'm eager to see how she does! I'm assuming you're getting a new tune for this since IMRC will be completely deleted, and MAF transfer function will probably have to be changed for the new intake tube. The ECU gets really picky with airflow rate being out of expected bounds, lol. You'll lose some low end grunt for sure without IMRC but it should scream up top! Also I wouldn't mind having a spare stock intake manifold on hand, so PM me if you want to let it go for a good price.

I usually keep my stock parts! Never know when you might need it 😂

@@ice44567 very good to know
the parts store run was fun
Yes it was 😄
Can’t wait to see the dyno results! 😃
You and me both!
You should do the software upgrade with Lund if you can at the time of tuning. What tune device do you have or what are you going with ?
I’m not sure what software upgrade you’re referring to. I have the mpvi 3.
The vette looks like a good time
Oh definitely! Haha
That intake looks sweet
Thank ya! 😄
