As i've never played this personally so i can't tell if the notes were changed or not but the tempo definitely has been toned down.
Benson Huang The piece was altered note wise at various parts, filling out "Breaks"(moments of silence) with some moves that sounded like the "Phantom of The Opera" I personally disliked that because well they are 2 melodies of different 'Nature', I would do that on an organ piece of Bach but whatever the case, this young man performed pretty well otherwise, one thing though..... too much pedal! I enjoyed it nonetheless 8/10*

Love the few modifications, adds more dimension I think. As a fellow piano player I know how different a piece sounds on a keyboard compared to let's say a Steinway so ignore the comments comparing you to world class pianists. This was impressive :) you really inspire me

Hi, I played this piece at the regional PACA competition I finished first and I have some tips ...
At the beginning do not put the pedal, and be faster in your movements and more shades P -> F, and this for the whole piece ... (I do not say that everything is missed because of the pedal, but Is not far away, and does not listen to beginners who tell you that it is played well you must know the piece by heart and have listened to it hundreds of times by different pianists to judge ...), good continuation , And stopped the pedal, because I was like you before, and it got me to finish 3rd prize (which is a very bad price) in the contest of France, because in the competitions you are missing out on a single shade or Pedal is finished you can leave ...

A few specifics to keep in mind:
the ascending arpeggios in the first theme (including those in the development and recapitulation) are supposed to be QUIET. They are written to be played "piano."
I don't know why, but the 3rd theme (including its variant in the recapitulation) was played way too slow compared to the rest of the piece.
Overall: please pay more attention to dynamics. I didn't notice any quietness anywhere in this performance, but the dynamic "piano" is written in the score many times.
Also, the big chords at the top of the arpeggios at 00:25 and 00:27 are just supposed to be E octaves.

There are a few modifications, but overall its the same composition
Biggest difference is how he plays the very first part as it comes up throughout the piece. He doesn't play the 4th note before moving hand position much louder than the others
Notice that the title says no repeats too. This song is supposed to be 7 minutes, but Yu took out the repeats.
