Good video! James! You swopped in to get the deals! I have never seen or heard of that Watership Down soundtrack before! Nice! Those $.25 CD's were a good buy too! Nice!
I'm a CD collector and I agree with what you said, If it has a parental advisory sticker or hype sticker then i'd rather have the O.G. case even if the hinges are broken and has cracks.
Wind chime prison based on how windy it seemed that day also based off of it blowing signs off a previous table. Don't forget you have to scoop up the deals! You know that Splinter Cell for $500 was steal of a deal. "I do it all the time" 😂
CD cases made 20 years ago are light-years better in quality than the replacements that you can get today. In general, I prefer to keep them in the original cases, but when super cracked or scratched I will replace. The parental advisory stickers are a dime a dozen, you can easily pick up a Linkin Park CD in a thrift store just for the case & sticker with the advisory label if you wanted a non-broken case to replace. The ones that are hard to replace are the color-tinted cases. I have a special fondness for the heavy thick jewel cases that had the smooth (non ribbed) top and bottom edge that were common between 1984 and 1986.
Thanks for the input! Another question. I wonder if collectors care about little details like how many "teeth" the cd tray has (older ones had less with them spread them apart more), or if the case originally had those two dots on the cover that hold it close but it was switched to one with the two lines?
@@FleaMarketFalcon Many collectors complain about that smaller middle tab intended to hold down the booklet, however I don't believe there are specific preferences. On the re-sell marketplaces like Discogs you'll have buyers that get particular about bite-marks you'll get when a booklet is out of alignment with those tabs and the booklet is damaged.
I hate when people put a big piece of tape directly on the album cover of a record like that. Even painters tape will tend to rip part of the album cover once it’s been on there for a while like that. If it’s on plastic that’s fine but not directly on the cardboard cover. I won’t even chance buying one.
lovely cd scores today. Would've loved to pick up that Electric Wizard - Dopethrone at 1:30 . Found some Soundtrack CDs myself last week, happy I got the Halloween Soundtrack and some other nice ones like the Twin Peaks Soundtrack (just finished season 3 this month). Regarding the cracked CD Case question: I think if it's just a small crack, I would keep the original case. But if it's badly damaged and the hinge is damaged I would just replace it. I don't really care too much about the hype stickers, but I have to admit that some are really cool. Sadly it's still a bit early for good flea markets where I live, so I need to wait a couple more months for them to be really exciting. Have a great rest of the week :)
The CD Falcon Gods have sent the Flea Market Falcon many scooped up steals and deals this time around! Electric Wizard are so awesome. I would definitely keep the original case, probably put it in a additional poly cover to protect it. I tend to keep hypestickers with the release nowadays as well for both CDs and vinyl.
Yup! Something I forgot to mention, the Parental Advisory sticker is not only cool but helpful to identify if it is an edited CD or not (although by the time they started making edited CDs they may have stopped using that sticker and printed it directly on the booklet?)
Nice, I don't usually promote it because i don't want people to think I am pressuring them to buy stuff, but since you asked here it is www.ebay.com/str/eastcoasttoyscollectables
I use to go it at a couple of Game Stops and would find cool stuff, like expensive strategy guides and kiosk demo discs which are super rare. Since being in Florida I don't do it anymore, a lot of places lock the dumpsters.
@@FleaMarketFalcon That's cool. I'm not sure how it is in Florida with the locks, but here in the UK they usually use 2 types of lock. The most common is a 'triangle key' which is a common lock type on boiler cupboards. The other, newer type, is a 'gravity lock', which automatically unlocks when the waste disposal truck tips the bin to dump it. Harder to gain entry to those. I'm also not sure how the law is in Florida, as I'm aware it differs state-to-state, but here in the UK, it's called trespassing and is a civil matter, rather than being illegal, so you can usually get away with it smoothly. Anyway, random I know, but I was just interested to know if you had ever done it. Would love to see a video on that some day in addition to your cool flea market videos. Have a great day.
@@FleaMarketFalcon oh yeah I get it you buy to resell in most cases. Its just wild there's a market for them. They don't necessarily look good, they seem to be exclusively stored in box, and there's about a billion of them out there. I guess I get collecting movies and games from childhood but these are made to "collect" and therefore wildly overproduced. Reminds me of beanie babies.
Good video! James! You swopped in to get the deals! I have never seen or heard of that Watership Down soundtrack before! Nice! Those $.25 CD's were a good buy too! Nice!
Thanks! Yup a lot of hard to find still brand new older CDs from the 1980's in that lot.
I usually try to remove stickers if I have to replace the case, but most times it ruins them .. some great stuff and great prices again
Thanks! Yup the WRONG sticker on a case is a travesty.
Probly been said ! But I like when the parental advisory is on the booklet !
It's easier to keep nice when on the booklet but I think I prefer the sticker.
FMF swoooooping in 🦅 like clockwork on a Tuesday evening 🙌
Heck yeah! Had to skip last week though, didn't find much then.
Definitely great deals on the vinyls. Some of those we’ll sell so fast.
I remember seeing Iceman on cable when I was a kid. They basically find a caveman and thaw him out.

Yeah! Love those lil stickers
I need that slick Rick CD to finish my collection.
@@kylec.8350 Not selling that one but it is pretty cheap online.
Nice score on the metal cds love Suicidal Tendencies and Six Feet Under
Heck yeah!
@@FleaMarketFalcon saw SIx Feet Under live they put on a awesome show
Damn... Six Feet Under, Sepultura, Lordi, Impelleteri, etc for a dollar?
Awesome!
You found some killer metal for cheap.

Thanks for watching!

American Gothic LaserDisc ! Nice brahhhhh
Oh heck yeah 🦔
Nice cds! I've never seen a copy of American Gothic in the wild. Pretty rare.
Thanks! Yup its always interesting when someone has just one horror title.

Lordi is Finnish rockband and they win Eurovision Song contest.
Nice, thanks.
My day just got better.a falcon video
Thanks Patrick!
Video game lizard. 😂
I rented American Gothic on VHS many years ago. Really liked the movie.
Yeah! I remember seeing it at the video store all the time but didn't actually watch it until a few years back.
Very catchy psychobilly band
Nekromantics? I've heard them before but think I get them confused with Tiger Army,
@@FleaMarketFalcon yeah similar sound, more melodic psychobilly.
they still perform out here in Southern California. great live band.
Great finds.
That’s too early for me to go to a flea market. My eyes are closed and I’m dreaming. 😴
Yup its tough but the nap when I get home is fantastic
