Was randomly recommended this channel a couple days ago, think I've binged like 20 videos since. I like the humor you bring to these vids and I find them relaxing. Also interesting to see the extensive catalogue of films and music you're able to find, alot of stuff you'd never find in charity shops here (as they call them here in Scotland). I do get some good stuff ocassionally though.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I for sure get lucky with the stuff I find. Part of the reason is I do go out hunting a lot. Also, some stores just seem to get better donations than others. I seem to do the best in medium sized towns. In cities there is too much competition, and the items are scooped up from the stores very quick. If it is a small country town it seems like they just never get good donations.
Heck Yeah!!! definitely just grab what you want... not rude at all to grab stuff while he is scanning. This isn't his loungeroom. Scoop up those deals!
Your a better man than me dude. I would have reached over that guy and just purchased EVERYTHING. Every Cd, and Every 45. picked it all up and put it in a box and checked out. You would probably have done ok for the price. No patience for idiots like that..
Great scores again! Love me some soundtrack CDs and usually pick them up when I can find them. Ahh Anne Rice the gothic smut... sorry the gothic erotic writer 😂 Always interesting to see when you pick up BBC TV series - remember Lovejoy from when I was younger. He was a "rogue" antiques dealer getting up to mischief (yeah only us Brits could love a TV series like that 😂). I see a lot of people scanning things these days which to me defeats the purpose of the hunt and building up your experience and knowledge. I mean I do scan occasionally but knowing what you are looking for is part of the fun. Great video.
4:02 - Even though it goes with almost nothing else in my music collection, I've always enjoyed My Life With Thrill Kill Kult. Just something about them. 9:33 - Holy mother...the deals can't be that good at the estate sale, lol! And this is why I don't do estate sales, my anxiety is thru the roof just watching that. 14:25 - But yet being in an arcade puts me at peace. Don't ask me to explain it. Darn you, it was a ruse! 😂That bin store is weird, feels awfully shady too. Thanks as always (and for the footage from Universal Studios)!
the soundtracks are insane. The mortal combat and lord of acid belong together, same artist. They are from my part of the woods. Captain holywood hat a couple of hits in the 90'
National Lampoon's Senior Trip OST was one of the selections that Columbia House automatically billed and sent to me for not returning my subscription card in time! This album introduced me to the Phunk Junkeez that I ended up seeing a few years later open up for the Kottonmouth Kings. Bad Religion definitely made better music in the 80s. Great pickups on those CDs and the Spider-Man curtain panels. If that Brand New vinyl is OG press, thats truly an epic score.
Thanks! The Brand New is 180 gram so i don't think it is original. It is on two LPS which is kinda annoying because you have to change the record so often lol. With Columbia House (or was it BMG?) I got all the free CDs but when it was time to buy some I wrote them a letter explaining I was just a kid and didn't have any money. It worked, I never heard from them again.
Good video! James! You got some great deals! I have that Gram Parson's CD set! Can't remember what I paid for it brand new! Never seen or heard of an arcade and a Thrift store and a bowling alley all together like that! Nice! That universal store is quite somehing!
You did very well on the cds. That brand new vinyl i definitely would have grabbed that if i saw it to. I love that album. That mall is super depressing. Very strange the random store in the back of an arcade. Babadook enjoy that movie.
It's been a long time since one of those.. one of my uncles had one of those oversized remotes in the late 80s.. was basically a universal remote of its time, where you could control your stereo radio, tape player, record turntable player, TV, and VCR all on one for your entertainment center (can't remember if it had CD control, CDs didnt start poppin until the early 90's.. I do remember thinkn it was one of the coolest things at that young age.. I wanna say it was Zenith brand
hey those are in pretty good condition for the stuperstars and airforces! a little dish soap and some new laces and they'll look brand new. i tried making flea market falcon with my mashed potatoes but it came out looking like swap meet swan!!!
I totally forgot to look at media at the swap meet. I got a box of motorcycle and old car mirrors for free. But you guys from up north would say "mirras". My friend just found a rare 45 rpm of Elvis/Johnny cash at the bins and got 1k. 90% of those CDs you found I've never seen thrifting. Weird mall
A lot of great KMFDM fines I mostly have all their albums except for the past two years or so . You found a lot of great 90s industrial bands fantastic
Nice score on the cds Bad Religion,KMFDM, Senior trip soundtrack ,Manowar,Lords OF Acid, White Zombie KMFDM remixes , Mortal Kombat Annelation Hackers soundtrack ,Heaven 17,The Cramps,Ministry ,House Of Pain ,Eurotrip soundtrack ,Bio Dome soundtrack,Mylifewiththethrillkillkult,Overkill, Beetlejuice soundtrack and Tommy Boy on caste I actully found a Overkill House Of Pain , Cramps and a some soundtracks by me in Vancouver Washington at Goodwill got the Punisher soundtrack and The Craft Empire Records all the Crows , by the way Cherrie Blue was the first singer of Lords OF Acid I actually recentley found the first Mortal Kombat cd and that Lords OF Acid cd you found and saw them live met them had them sign it got set list signed to Oliver Adams was there to him and Paga Khan made the them for Mortal Kombat under the name the Immortals and did remixes for Alice In Chains and White Zombie under the name the damage Twins from Lords OF Acid I went to see Mylifewiththethrillkillkult sound a rare dvd had groovie Mann sign it the singer by the way I would have got Nitzer Epp there another good old industrial band by the way thought it was funny you skipped the MychemicalRomance and Lost Prophets cds lol
Do you test the vhs before you put them up or just sell as is? Last estate sale I went to had a guy scanning the movies. He was so busy with that he neglected to see all the criterions right in front of him. Grabbed them all 😊.
Yes, that is another good reason just scanning everything is a waste of time. Someone else who knows what they are looking for can and probably will grab the good stuff first. I test some VHS depending on value or if they look like they might have an issue. A lot of VHS i sell in lots for 2 or 3 dollars each and those are usually untested.
Once it is listed I keep it up for a long time. I usually just reduce the price. I should go through some stuff that will probably never sell and bring it to the flea market.
@@FleaMarketFalcon that’s legit what I just did, just had a bunch of dvds that barely had any views and weren’t selling so just brought them to the flea market and sold them all
Oh the people who scan everything…I’ve seen a few regulars at the bins who will just put every single book in their cart and scan each one and toss the non-valuable ones back in five feet away. The most obnoxious behavior ever.
@@FleaMarketFalcon I hate when people just mindlessly grab stuff to hoard and causally go through stuff later. It’s frustrating as a shopper to see that.
Another laugh out loud moment. 'Best seat in the house". Thanks James. I love 'Real Genius'. That and '3 O'Clock High' are my 2 favorite 80s comedies.
Thank you! I considered making a fart noise to get his attention but decided not to lol
I love the Cramps. One of the best rock bands ever !. Good selection of cds there.
Indeed!

Yeah, I should have.
The Maze is great! 🐸
Nice, haven't watched it yet but see that it features a man-frog lol
Lmao, that bin store in the arcade reminds me of those businesses that are a front for some underground business.
Yup, seems like all stuff the footclan from TMNT stole off a truck
The Cramps ROCK!!!
Your a better man than me dude. I would have reached over that guy and just purchased EVERYTHING. Every Cd, and Every 45. picked it all up and put it in a box and checked out. You would probably have done ok for the price. No patience for idiots like that..
If they were a little cheaper I just might have 😆
I’ve reached over people before if they’re sitting there scanning. It’s just rude. Grab what you think is valuable and move to the side.
Yes I should have done that and I agree.
Fantastic CD finds!
Thanks!

I enjoy going to bin stores on $1 days. I’ve found a lot of movies over the years, especially boutique labels like Arrow and Severin.

Nice scores, VHS for life brother

What are the odds? I was just making a mashed potato sculpture of James Creelman and then he suggests it! Crazy
😂
you missed that nice lamp in the state sale

I bought a collection from a viewer who is local to me but usually I don't. I might be interested though if it's a really good deal.
