This was a special concert One Ok Rock did in 2021 when the rules for public events were still incredible strict in Japan due to Covid. They did a few shows with those extra musicans and rearranged every song they played. I highly recommend you to check out the live version of Mighty Long Fall so you can see how much they changed this intense song for this concert and also the acoustic version of their Studio Jam Session; this one is more like an acoustic version you were thinking of. They also performed two shows a day that's why the concert is called "Day to Night" one show in the afternoon and one show in the evening. It's impressive that Taka's voice is that good during the second show of the day. One Ok Rock can't really be defined by one genre imo. They did one of their heavier songs (Deeper Deeper) in a jazz style during this concert. It's really cool that this band can do pretty much anything they want to do.
Lol yes TAKA!! Incredible talent. This does seem more like a ballad than acoustic. He does an amazing acoustic of Renegades with just a piano. And also his covers of Adele are amazing 🙌🏼

Also, if you're looking to hear them more unplugged, I'd suggest their acoustic jam videos! All the band members are there, but it's just in a studio with no audience. Taka’s parents were famous Enka singers in Japan. Enka is traditional Japanese music. Taka says he was bullied in school because his parents were rich. He and his brother Hiro are both talented singers. Taka’s vocals really shine on the song Your Tears Are Mine. Then, they rock out on Left In the Middle and the acoustic version of Taking Off is beautiful with a jazzy sound. One Ok Rock can’t be put in a hole. Rock has different sub genres: there’s classic rock, punk rock, hard rock, techno rock and there’s pop rock and they can do all of them!

This concert was a blessing in a way cause big crowds weren´t aloud yet so they planned a more intimate session and it was marvelous. Of course for OOR used to huge crowds this must have been still a shock. Tomoya "Tomo" the drummer is fantastic. He has his own youtube channel just playing OOR songs and I love it.
