    classic. COZI-TV plays all the classic tv shows. Adam 12, The A team, Dragnet and more. It would be even better if they played the old commercials like these.👍

    • @Stephie2007
      @Stephie2007 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I know. My grandparents on my mom's side used to work for Amway back in the late 80's until the mid 2000s when my late grandfather's health started to decline. I definitely have memories of going to their house and seeing boxes of Nutralite vitamins, Nine to Five coffee (a brand that doesn't exist anymore), chips (again Amway stopped selling this product) and Artistry cosmetics (my grandmother used this for a long time and the very few times my mom did wear make up I believe it was this brand as well. Heck when I was old enough, I even carried a tubed of light pink Artistry lipstick in my purse.)
      I still remember how much my Dad used to cringe whenever me and my siblings did do to door fundraisers for school or scouts. I guess it reminded him of the Multi Level Marketing world he had to put up with while he and Mom were married and yet to this day, I sit back and shake my head because his current wife (His third wife to be exact. Mom was his first) has been known to dabble in the Multi Level Marketing stuff as well (She's done Mary Kay, Pampered Chef and now Scentsy)

    i like how the 70s morphed into the 80s until 85 then the standard style framework template was set that we still see today. (without all the overt masonic evil spewing over everything)

    • @DavesArchives
      @DavesArchives  8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      This is so true! There seemed to have been a radical change in the ad industry around 85 and onward. Then around 89-90, you begin to see the modern, in your face style of ads that the 90's was known for. Good eye!

    • @WAQWBrentwood
      @WAQWBrentwood 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Mike Parcheezy Yes, the early 80s ads are like 1976+. but there was a huge change from 1976-77. The 7up ads are the best example. We, in the early 70s got the "hippie" Uncola vibe, then 74-77 we got the psychedelic "See the Light" arc, Now (in this series) we see a more traditional American series of ads.(Athletes,kids.) Points up how frustrating it must have been for the ad men of 1970s. "Do we go after the '60s generation (by the 70s adults with real buying power.) by being '60s hip? or do we go after what's next? (Gen X-ers) By 1980, it calmed down, and ads focused again on a broad market. After cable reached saturation (1986 or so...) advertising became again fragmented. It still is.

    • @3hooks781
      @3hooks781 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's something to that. I forgot where I read this but basically from 80-about 81 there were a few commercials that were run repeatedly before the broadcasters could all be ready to run ads with the newer production standards. I wish I could find the source.

    • @mrdorfy
      @mrdorfy 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's always been women who are stick thin and women who are curvier, since the beginning of time. You act as though ALL women are obese or overweight now days. That's no more true now as it was then.
