Another interesting fact the Hotel Emma was named after Emma Koehler who was the wife of Otto Koehler, who was the president and ceo of the San Antonio Brewing company at the time. He had an affair two women also named Emma and was murdered by one of them in 1914 after being shot. Emma Koehler kept running the brewery after his death pushing the brewery through prohibition years later.
What a beautiful place to visit! The historic Pearl Brewery and the revitalization of the Pearl District in San Antonio, Texas is truly remarkable. Thank you for sharing your experience with us! 😍👌🏽
Would have never guessed that the inspiration for the name of district would be a brewery! Good to see they've redeveloped the area, as the old industry has moved on - similar to what they've done with parts of London!
😂 If I had a dollar every time I mention my age and vision. I actually had not been to the Pearl District before. I spent most of my time in the west side of the city. Very cool to see things I missed!

I don’t think we ever been to this place although we’ve been to San Antonio once. It’s really pretty at night😍❤️👍👍
it's a little out of the way, but such a pretty area!

Its so pretty! I would love to go to the farmers market on the weekend when the weather warms up a little bit
Pearl bought by Southdown, ruined when they decreased power of brewmeister and their
chemists took over. Made cheap beer, and downfall.
Bummer!
Looks boring. Thanks for sharing.
I imagine the area is more happening in the warmer months
