  • Yay! Thank you for being here and for watching this week's video! If you are new here, my name is Victoria and I am a third grade teacher in Maine. Subscribe and join me as I document how I’m balancing motherhood, teaching and everything in between. In today’s video I bring you along a quick classroom set up! Today we worked in the classroom for a more than an hour and got some more cleaning out / decluttering done. Classroom set up with a kid is all about doing it in spurts lol. I’d love to hear your thoughts on everything, what to keep, get rid of, etc. Let me know what you think and of course share any ideas or suggestions for future videos.

Let me know what other videos you'd like to see from me! Whether that be more week in my life vlog-style videos, day in my life in videos, Mom vlogs, Teacher vlogs, or lifestyle vlogs in Maine. In teacher vlogs let me know if you’d like specific topics to be discussed like math stations, reading stations, writing instruction, science of reading, morning meeting, classroom management, classroom organization, student teaching tips, new teacher tips, etc. With motherhood let me know if you’d like to see more routine videos, one year old activities, day in the life with a toddler, what my toddler eats in a day, etc. Let me know if you'd like to see more finance videos on budgeting, saving on a teacher salary! Or more videos of me trying new things for a week, whether that be new skills or habits.I also love minimalism, and slow living videos as well! Thanks for any feedback

We got a week of insevice. If your fortunate you get an afternoon for classroom set up. But they leave the building open late which is not contract hours.

Nice that you have a week but that’s too bad you’re given such little time in your classrooms!

@@lifewithmrsleet3708 yes but the week of meetings for the majority could be sent in an email. It would be nice to have just a day of planning and days of classroom set up. One entire day is Restoration.

Why is watching you declutter/organising so satisfying?! 😂 I enjoyed this video!

Lol I love decluttering content too - it feels productive and most of the time I’m not even participating 😅

We also only get two days before kids start but it’s filled mostly with PD.

I feel you! I wish we had more time, specifically more time to plan, prep and get our classrooms ready!

Hmm! Nice to have a week! Not so nice to not have much time to work in your classroom or on plans 🫠
