@AtortAerials Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Could you please let me know what specific issue you're experiencing with your DJI Flip? Providing more details will allow us to assist you more effectively. Thank you.
Thanks for this comparison! If the budget is to low for a Mini 4 Pro I would choose the Mini 3 Pro. I‘I‘m with one from the first day of launch and this little thing is flying like on her first day. Just amazing how durable and performant those little birds are.
You are the first to ask the right question in your header! Vs the Mini3, it’s a no brainer, specially since DJI stubbornly refuses to add active tracking on the Mini3, very disappointing. Given its price and usage for a large majority of users, the Flip will be the one to buy. It’s has some advantages found in the Neo (no remote required) and that is a game changer! Great review!
My Mini 4 Pro rocks. I can specific use cases for the Flip especially when working or flying around people. It’s a safer method for flying and getting autonomous shots.
Owning DJI’s for a long time now as of the early Phantom series. The mini 4 pro is the best around today. Flip cannot do waypoint flights which is a must have for me. For a beginner flip may be the one to start with. Does flip support D-Log?
I still cant decide! I like the quick deployment of the Flip as we would use for family holidays - group selfies, tracking while we ride/jetski ect, shots of the land and places we are at…or do I go for the picture quality (esp night mode) and avoidance features (I’m a first time user) of the M4P. It’s a $350 difference where I am. The flip gets the N3 remote over the N2 on the M4P.
@ I think I’m leaning towards the flip for simplicity of getting in the air faster and use with either no remote or just mobile phone. We will be using on family trips so will get tiresome having to connect M4P to controller anytime we want a quick selfie picture. It would only be the tracking and night mode that would make the M4P more appealing.
@@JezyKrat just remember Flip is nowhere as good in winds as even a Mini 2. My Mini 2 will smoke my Flip in winds and doing a video on this soon. Think about that one too...that's a 2020 4 year old drone and still out performs a new Flip in winds.
@@AtortAerials thanks. I’m heading into the dji shop this weekend to see if they can demonstrate the deployment time of the M4P. I know it’s the better drone but the quick deployment for family pics is the main concern for me. It’s why I starts this research journey at the Neo until I realised poor video quality. We watch our family videos at home on 4K tv.
@@danypromax if I may (owning a Mini3 and a NEO and previously the Air series): Depends on your ambitions (I am excluding the budget aspect). I think the NEO is an amazing way to start. You will quickly notice the amount of time you use it and what you do with it. If you plan to be more engaged and edit your vids etc. then the Flip will allow you to go further. Very often, you end up pulling it out, do a “dronie” or “circle” and done, ready to be shared. The NEO does this in no time. Using a drone can be annoying for other people (including your family). What you don’t want, is a long setup time and I think both these drones tick this point, the NEO is obviously unbeatable. In summary: I would start with the NEO. If you really want to take it further seriously, probably buy a Mini 4 Pro (drone only) since the remotes are compatible. If you have some experience already and were an occasional user in the past, the FLIP will do it all! Hope that helps!

Can Flip track a car? I need it to go in front of the Jeep on trails, it doesn't need to be fast, but it needs to take good video and be able to follow the Jeep.
Using prices from DJI web store. RC2$369, RCN3$129, Battery$65, Charging Hub$49, DJI Sling Bag$89.
