She’s using these for some jars that she already has that apparently or some kind of heirloom in the family and she wanted the jars lids to dress them up. These went out in the mail couple days ago so she should be getting them by Monday. It’s always exciting making these putting them in the mail and hearing their reactions. I mention this because at other places online they are saying you should spray paint a layer of paint before beginning to pour. Yet you are using the pillow technique, will this create that layer of paint on the metal surface of the lid so that my acrylics will adhere before I seal them?
I never fast forward through your tutorials lest I miss one of the nuggets of wisdom you sprinkle throughout your videos. Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate and share your experience. Super grateful!

This is such a great idea! While I don’t know anyone who uses the old “flour, sugar, coffee, tea” canisters, these would be the perfect top to counter storage. Instead of clutter, it’s art! @@LouiseMcKayArt thank you, I’m just starting to branch out from pouring on canvas,wood panels etc, and I’ve used the min wax polycrylic for sealing and protecting the paintings, with good results, it hardens really well, so I thought I’d try that first and then graduate to the more expensive resin that you recommend 🌞🌞
sounds like a good plan, varnish is tough and finishes quote shiny. When you’re ready, I use KS Resin Liquidstone and find it’s a solid performer. I do have a discount code for 10% off and a link to what I use in all of my descriptions when the time comes if you wanna use it. The revenue use is so important and you don’t want to get to finish part and put down a poor performing resin that then you have to start dealing with that in the end.

You’re 100% correct on the right kind of resin! I initially tried a different resin, and the KSRESIN is excellent! Oh! I’ve never tried the heat lamp and plastic over the tent!

It’s a screw lid without a solid top for canning. There are two parts….a flat lid and the screw on ring. I’ll will definitely play around with it! Love your videos!

I’m sure that you can, you certainly can varnish, I prefer the resin because it’s more resilient and is much more shiny.

في كل مرة أرسل التعليق باللغة الإنجليزية يتم حذفه او حظرة
@ تلقيت تعليقك بشأن الحظر، ومن الواضح أنه لم يحدث ذلك منذ أن تلقيت تعليقك. يقول TH-cam إنه لا يزال قيد المعالجة، لذا قد يستغرق الأمر بعض الوقت. ربما حاول مرة أخرى غدا. بمجرد حصول TH-cam على الوقت للترجمة.

I looked up how to set to Arabic translate which I did. I think it takes time for TH-cam to process
