These videos are hard to understand. These apartments are very large and in urban areas. These people have to have some money. What is going on? Are they mentally ill? Did they get laid off? Are they squatting and then got caught? The garbage and food waste in this video is incredible and very sad.
I don't understand these vlogs. These homes seem to be lived in and not abandoned. Is this common?? How can people live like this? And just how much does it cost to have this company come in and clean like that?? Wow.
This is a severe case of hoarding... There are levels of hoarding... You might know some people that are in level one or two... It usually starts from a room which is allways messy and you can not get in easily so it sometimes stays locked...
I'm from Germany and here are a lot of people living in messy homes. It's not always a case of hoarding...The most people living like that, having serious health issues. I know also a few guys with bad depressions. Their homes are messy. And here are a lot of old people who are so alone. When I was a child we had an old lady in the neighborhood, her children didn't care, she was so alone, too. All the people were just talking about her mess, but nobody wanted to help. Me and my parents had helped her (and that was a real mess - similar to this one in the video)...that was heartbreaking 😢
My guess is they also have a location in China, where these videos are made. I must say though, it's a very good means of advertising, showing the before and after.
