We tested Torchlight already in our Infinity group here in Munich. It's a extremely competitive sectoral. The ability to board controll by mining near everything makes them pretty efficient to Bock every possible ways of the opponent by establishing a really dense mine field.
Yo! You should try out Starmada again for sure. Now that they have roadbots and sarkos you can make some extremely competitive lists! You throw in some roadbots and sarkos with a zeta and a kappa core and you can build some great lists. Great video though!
I think Starmada is in a much better place now then at launch. The addition of the HMG Bronzes and Sarkos have greatly improved the sectorial. It has loads of climbing plus which is very nice and roadbots are just amazing. Ment COC for 15 points is a big boon for O-12. I think Hector is a trap and your better off just taking a Zeta. I think it can be an above average sectorial but its similar to the combine army in that it needs some finesse and skill so maybe not the most newbie friendly sectorial. I think torchlight is a far better sectorial for newer players. With Moonrakers I'd say Vanilla O-12 is in a very good spot. It has a strong mid field presence and a unit for whatever you need.
@@the_infinitygamer There was always Cho at 20. So the Ment just saves you 5 points. As for Hector, that Plasma rifle is such bait. Even an X-visor doesnt offer enough help in winning F2F rolls and the lack of range means you need to look else where to deal with strong AROs. Its not that Hector cant do well but he is much harder to use well than a Zeta or Bronze HMG.
@AquilaGuard 1) 5 points is a whole Warcor! Do you know how impactful one of those can be? 2) I appreciate that - what about if it’s paired in a Nyoka fireteam with an HMG Epsilon?
@@the_infinitygamer, Zeta lieutenant has 3 orders, BS 14 wuth the hyper rapid magnetic cannon and very easy to repair with remote presence. But I am a Pano player 😅
@AlexExale hmmm it is a good prospect. I love the Zeta for its climbing plus. Having it hide behind a building and pop up in active turn is so powerful.
Do I think Torchlight is O-12 resurgent? Honestly no, Its more variety yes, but as no units seem to have made it into vanilla, it's a kind of isolated but fun play option. Do I think this release cycle is O-12 resurgent, no. Again because no reinforcement profiles made it into vanilla. Starmarda though, with the addition of some of the reinforcement profiles is much improved imo. Going to try double Nightshade, double Sarko at some point for almost Shasvastii style mid board shenanigans, with a more flexible base.
Uhh, while not everything made it into vanilla, (Sad no Samus or strider) Jackboots, Ment agents, Vidocqs, Nightshades, Silverstar rovers, Hellblazers, Nimrods, Wreckers, Stormbots, Sonya Lacroix, and arguably most importantly, Moonrakers, are all in vanilla. You can argue how useful any given thing is. But those are all there.

Does anyone give actual usable information about this game or does every infinity TH-camr start every video with a 45 minute preamble about their life, and feelings, and how long they’ve had public hair and what models they’ve bought in order of purchase, timestamped for verification? I’d like to know more about infinity. Please.
Very nice to keep in the background when hobbying.
Having a video of me hobbying in the background of you hobbying - it’s like hobbying inception!

What did you think was a standout unit or combination?
@the_infinitygamer the Moonrackers were extrem strong and cleaned up a lot before dying. But what really breaks the offense was the prime in fireteam.

Thanks for the inspiration! I’ve had a play around with lists but keep putting Hector in them 😂
@@the_infinitygamercan’t blame you there! He is a beast! That’s for sure😁
Plus he’s painted, which is a rare thing!

Hector is a trap I keep falling into. 3 regular orders, plasma, and excellent CC are all even bigger traps now that there’s a cheap CoC

I got so caught up in Torchlight I completely forgot to check Starmada!

I think the moonrackers by themselves are a MAJOR addition to Vanilla O-12. They greatly improve O-12 midfield presence.
